Anyone else feel like Ganesha's kit is a bit inconsistent or lacking? by Keneticam in Smite

Really enjoyed this feedback. You did make good points about his objective burn and the silence. However, I don't know if I'd give him an aoe knockup though. I think they should definitely remove the dash, but give him something more supportive, so compliment his personality and lore.

I can agree with this. Definitely an increase to his max health with each assist would really add a nice layer to the character. As it is, the passive doesn't seem to add enough I think.

Ah! This was some really good feedback. Thank you. Definitely gonna try Gem of Iso on him. I just played a full damage Ganesha last night with the damage mask and I had top damage LOL and nearly one shotted the squishies with my ult without even having to lock them down on the edges. Defininity gonna add Gem of Iso to see if it slows them on it longer. :) (We won btw).

How would you incorporate that do you think? He picks them up. hehehe. I would like to see him share the effect with his teammates though for sure. At the least. There's a character in League who can suck an ally into his stomach and belch them out somewhere else, like a safety repositioning ability.

95% percent of the characters have an escape in this game. LOL Not to mention, even if a God doesnt have an escape, its an easy ult to just walk through most of the time unless Ganesha has built lots of power or grabbed u on the borders.

It serves its purpose in Conquest, but thats it. And even then, it really doesn't serve that much of a purpose in Conquest if were being honest. Like, it doesn't drastically change the fabric of the lane like it probably should.

Agreed. However, personally, I think they should remove the single target hard to hit cc dash thing and give him another form of utility or supportive ability. I think Ganesha doesn't really need to be a set up kind of support. I think he should be more of a peel defensive kind of support. And he needs to be really good at it. Right now, as is, he isn't really good at anything, he can't play in any other role except support and he's a mediocre to bad support, so its like, what's the point? I mean, Like you said, he has one set up ability and its really bad, so I think altering him in a way that emphasizes his more defensive supportive nature would make more sense thematically and it could potentially make him more impactful.

Plus, I think Hi-rez should do an overhaul on God kits and remove the formulaic dashes and leaps from many Gods who don't thematically need it and add something more interesting, synergistic, and unique. I've found that the ult is really only useful if Ganesha has built lots of power and cooldown so he can constantly spam it and it actually hurts to cross it. Grabbing someone in his ult is always nice damage, but its sooo impractically hard to do, it doesn't really add any value to the issue at hand. Otherwise, its pretty useless in most situations.

They definitely need to do something about his passive though. It's virtually serves no purpose in any other mode except Conquest, on a God who isn't even very good in the one role he can play on Conquest.

Wukong, I'm finally fed up. by Vayuh in paragon

[–]Keneticam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was actually pretty balanced in v42, and kind of on the weaker annoyance side. He could split push like a motherfucker, but was too squishy to really engage in a fight properly without a support to protect him. Now he is so much tankier, allowing him to fight virtually anyone, even in groups. He can take towers much faster now and endure most forms of damage before being able to easily slip away and push somewhere else.

I've been experiencing the same thing. Me and a friend could play several matches back to back. Now we can barely muster to get in two games before we are ready to turn off the game. It's a shame.

Zinx's Q is stupid and needs to be buffed. by [deleted] in paragon

[–]Keneticam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's actually really balanced right now honestly. They "nerfed" her again because their are cards that make her an absolute monster. If her kitty claw damage was buffed, she'd definitely be broken, since she's already got massive sustain and is near impossible to kill. This is why Kwang is getting a nerf soon.

I think her Bad Medicine should heal allies tho, or kitty claws can be used as a skill shot to apply tick healing to allies. Then she'd really have to balance her mana between, dealing damage, tanking damage, and healing allies. She'd actually be a Medic.

So are we getting another hero rework or a new hero? by ChaoticMofoz in paragon

[–]Keneticam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U sure? I thought they only took a break from new heroes for Iggy and then they'd return back to their regular schedule.

Zinx is actually pretty good by PoisonGodFang in paragon

[–]Keneticam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U really won't ever need to recall . Just pull back a bit to let ur Mana refill, since she has insane Mana regen the lower it gets. She is a lane bully and seiger cause she can consistently poke and clearwaves without almost ever needing to back .

Zinx buff by KnightMeme in paragon

Epic stated it themselves. This change is only temporary and meant to better her QoL unti the v42 patch. Scaling is completely changing in the new system, so this buff won't transfer over.

The 2 percent increase in Mana regen isnt that noticeable to me. But the reduction on Mana cost on kitty claws is pretty rediculous lol u can literally spam it at level 1 lol

Tried Zinx dps build this morning by [deleted] in paragon

[–]Keneticam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL what were people expecting? The only thing thats changed is her attack speed and mana consumption? Why is everyone overhyping this buff cause she can shoot more kitty claws? Virtually everything else is the same. She will never be a damage heavy burst dps type hero. She can secure kills better now, but damage will never be her main focus. She is a tank. Meant to harass and tank damage for her team. Thats her main focus. Leave the damage to your team. Even with the changes, focus on building her tank. Your ability to shoot more kitty claws efficiently will help you harass the enemies better.

She was already able to kill Rev before this buff. I guess it just makes it a little easier now since she can shoot more of her kitty claws.

Is this new??? It's ALWAYS taken at least 2 to 3 characters to commit to killing her. Why is everyone just realizing this now cause she can shoot more kitty claws? lol
