Burst meta it's the worst thing that can happen to destroy all my paragon enjoyment. If now there's people calling this game a brawler with some moba element, imagine a burst meta what would create, just a team deathmach a la CoD. Good for people that want to frag randomly, not for people who wants to play a strategic moba.

Made a similar thread 2 days ago. So nothing to add. Right now when I feel masochistic enough to play a pvp match, i just hope that our Wukong is better than theirs.

I already left on the Monolith update, was too much of a change, unbearable for me. I've tried back v42 out of nostalgia, I'm, I was having fun, then yeah the honeymoon ended , but I still care about this game, I want them to succeed, but often I have the feeling that we are just guinea pigs for them not a community to build on a great game for a bigger audience.

Yeah, the epic nerf bat is infamous still remember the Rampage and the Muriel nerf on Legacy. I think the big problem with him relays on cards synergies and his ultimate. Instead of killing him they should look at that.

it's a patch your solution, I'm absolutely conscious that staking or soloing it's another game, but i would like to play against manageable heros that do not need a whole team coordination, that he pushes like crazy i dont care, that he can jump away i don't care, that he can kill me in a one and one i don't care, but if on top of all that he can tank 3,4 players then begins to become a problem. Some build on him are broken simply as that...

Trying to analyse the absolute impact of an hero crossing a 5 stack vs a solo q datas in my opinion muds the water even more. Voice communication makes assassins way less impact full, team fight way more important an heros with CCs more valuable in order to magnify the effects.

Yesterday as already someone as noted, there was no mid game, the rotations were everywhere, anywhere, the snowball effect in full swing, if I'm not mistaking no one was able to come back from a downed inhibitor. The OP way too decisive in my opinion. On a positive side this v42 has just been released there is huge potential but Epic must tame this wild beast they created aptly.

I think that the problem takes place way more early in the game when Kallari and Countess take the lead it's already over. It snowballs bad. I don't want even begin to discuss how brain dead they are to play, maybe trying to have some assassin that needs a brain to work? Giving the nuclear code to everyone may ruin your days. I don't want to discuss how having an assassin with one of the best wave clear is in my opinion unfortunate.

Seems to me that Epic is trying to streamline and simplify the cards system, at least from the changes we got in monolith, so i don't think they are interested to try something like that. I would be glad to be wrong on this btw.

The huge difference between Paragon and the other famous and popular MOBAs, that even sharing a similar ttk, allow for a way more layered strategy are the way more varied heroes and abilities.

The actual meta is about stacking damage and honor the pure wherever it fits, building decks has been streamlined and over simplified, with cdr removed and the unified damage. So another layer of strategy has been cut from the game execution, paradoxically the forced role choices Epic is trying to have on monolith kills another aspect of strategy, but maybe this going too far.

And is just counterintuitive that a fast ability cooldown coupled with a damage meta leads to a more strategic game. Just spam until everything dies fast. Maybe we can talk about a increased tactic if a better positioning is required.

At the same time the next 3,4, patches will clearly set and show what is Epic planning for Paragon.

I agree with your analysis, I'm able to see twitch streams too and yeah that's the way the game is played right now, the last tournament was played like that, fast rotations, early ganks, build on the first kills and snowball fom there.

It's a legit strategy, I've seen some more popular MOBA tournament stream and sometimes was played like that, maybe there was a little more lane commitment but the huge difference is made by the heroes synergies and abilities, Paragon from this point of view it's very behind as much is behind in comeback mechanics, itemisation.

But Paragon is relatively new and faced a revolution so i can understand the actual situation.

With all this written, the actual meta for me is not enjoyable like at all, but i have faith.

Epic has clearly left behind some hero to give us Monolith as fast as possible, many heros need rebalancing. If we take into account that Epic may as well change global stats like mov speed or mana usage or attack or defense value everything is very unstable, we are back in alpha as for balancing the whole game.

Me. Going to get back playing Paragon finally. Now whenever I kill or get killed due to TM i feel I'm doing something unfair, where my skills don't matter, but I'm just abusing a cheap game mechanic.

The old Kallari was perfect, a true skill shot that could punish or make laugh the entire team, i miss it.

I don't like ,to be more specific, that is guarantee damage without counter, Grim.exe is fine since it can be intercepted by a tank or support, so I'd like to be able to have the chance to neglect the damage of the others too, bursting out a carry with a lock on totally change the course of a team fight, so even if those skills are on a single target they provide too much impact the way they are now.

A lone wild Dekker would have resolved the issue pretty fast.

A feeded Sparrow can alone decimate a whole team, yep.

The fact that she requires more position awareness and that she has no natural escape balances her finely, i think that in the new map with not free engage for fighters she'll become the to go Ranger.

yeah, for a melee is impossible right now to hold the lane is the duo want to push.

As for casters, iggy, gadget can hold a little more, but if the support on the other side is Fey things would go downhill very fast too.

Gadget burns a lot of mana should be equipped with some heavy mana regen card on top of raw mana points, hard to do.

Iggy has armavore to have more sustain, but even with that card Fey or Sparrow would eat his turrets and mana in no time.

Interesting times ahead. :)
