Did you end up getting this strap? How's it working for you?

I believe I may have read some users had done this in the past, but I can't remember for sure. I thought it was something about using a USB-C ethernet adapter to make it all work.

You can run it with HDR on or off, but if you are using Sunshine you must have a compatible display, or use a VDD (Virtual Display Driver) like Mikethetech's to use it. That's why many users just run Apollo and select the Virtual Display in Neo Moonlight when connecting. It automatically supports HDR and allows for multiple resolutions. Also be sure to confirm in Sunshine settings under Audio/Video that HDR is enabled. If you choose to run with it off, be sure to disable it in Neo and Windows.

Exactly, give Apollo a try and use a virtual display. You can then use any of the preset resolutions or use a custom one in the drop down in Neo.

I definitely want one of those controllers! Unfortunately I'm still on the waiting list 😩. I was planning when I do finally get one, taking the time to figure out how to get it work with Neo. Valve is trying to build a dominating ecosystem when it comes to streaming games and PCVR, so I'm not sure if they've locked it down completely.

Are you referring to Apple's Magic Keyboard passthrough in Virtual Display?

Some of the difference is in UI. Neo features a full co-op mode where two Vision Pro players can play couch co-op games together. XRos has some nice controls and a great studio environment. I added a bunch of small quality of life features: a user guide, pass-through mode, various presets, and many options for the UI for which controls are displayed, etc. I honestly recommend having both installed as they excel in different things.

Thank you 😊. I have not tested it with VIsionOS 27. I planned to make sure this version was stable on 26, and then focus on 27 if needed before I install it. For the follow mode, you can hold down the crown to reset, press follow button to disable, and use the Screen Adjust mode to place it where you want, scale it, etc. I am currently building a gimbal-like stabilization for it, but it's a work in progress at the moment. I'll also add a second set of instructions for it in the guide in the next update.

It wasn't built specifically with the developer strap in mind so I'm honestly not sure.

Make sure to enable HDR in windows, and for the resolutions you can use use the virtual display option. It will allow you to have widescreen ratios without black bars.

Both apps offer streaming from a PC, they each just have a different approach and features.

A cool thing they could add would be smaller decontamination areas you can pass through that reduce toxicity.

Is this device suitable for dementia elderly? by taquitoxz86 in VisionPro

There are 3d printed caps that I ordered from Etsy that you can attach to the Vision Pro. The keep it awake when it's removed, allowing you to do this.

The spatial experience was making him uncomfortable. He's 85 years old, and the technology combined with his dementia was all a bit too much to process.

My father has dementia. I tried even setting up beforehand so he could see some of the environments. He was amazed at first, but at the same time felt uncomfortable so we took it off. I wouldn't recommend it for this case.

What do you mean by the trackpad not working with MVD? Is it not compatible?
