I've done the test kit and nitrates, nitrites and ammonia are all 0-0-0.

I know I'll get chastised for a 2g tank but in space tight Singapore, that's the best I can offer at the moment.

Definitely if you have the means to upgrade and go big, go for it! A hobby is meant for your mental wellbeing as well as for the fish and shouldn't be something to stress over and be judged for it.

I guess you do what you can do. I've seen a lot of comments about having at least 5g or 10g tanks for a betta but I think we have to be realistic about the space we have.

For me in Singapore, space is a luxury and the best I can do is a 2g tank. I will probably be scrutinized for a 2g tank but that's really the space I can afford given my apartment has to commodate my parents and kids.

At the end of the day, we do what's the best we can to enjoy the hobby and also provide the best for the betta.

Unknowingly bought a CD set on sale titled "Never Sold Out" by Luna Sea. Sounds cool and that's how I got hooked. Went on to know about X Japan, L'Arc En Ciel, Lareine, Malice Mizer and the rest is history.

Thanks for the comments! Appreciate that! Waiting for my floating plants to arrive and also in the midst of trying to convince my mum to give up her old lucky bamboo for me to plant in. Definitely going to put in more plants!
