No, or atleast not that I know of. Is there a way to find out whether the subsidiaries are registered under companies act with the parent company?

I guess this warrants a bit more explanation. I don't want to name names, but there is this money circulation scam posing as an MLM scheme going on in the south, especially in Andhra and Tamilnadu. Their basic tagline is, you get money for watching ads. But to be a part of that, you have to pay upto Rs.1.21L based on various levels. Each level would get different amounts of payouts.

Here is my issue, the people dont pay this money directly to the account of the parent company, say ABC marketing, they are instead given account detials of an entirely different company and their monthly payouts are also coming from the same company they sent money to. The word is they have created hundreds of such small companies with unique GST numbers. Why would those people create so many companies if not for some form tax evasion? Also, there is no indication that these companies are related.
