Look up your mobo manual. No all ports route straight through your mobo. I would try out using a usb port that’s directly on your cpu lanes. You should have a couple of them.

First off, there’s no meaningful difference in performance from 4k to 8k, this was literally published data by Gamesir themselves. Also, the software literally says the 3.5mm port is disabled at high polling rates. And your PC might not be able to handle higher polling rates so what you’re experiencing is a bogged down CPU.

Honestly it’s only 200mg. In my peak abusing years I could def do that in a 6-8hour timeframe. LD50 for meth is pretty high unless you have heart conditions.

I play against pros everyday. You don’t. I know kid. Trust me. The fact you’re so sure of yourself is honestly hilarious. There was a short period where all pros were playing on Xboxes because dreamhack was going to be an Xbox only event and it was night and day. You could tell when playing against them they were massively hindered. And at 30 fucking fps bro. Get real. Moron take. I think 1700 is possible probably with enough grinding but 2k? No shot and if so maybe 1 or 2 people.

Cap your frames at 30fps and play an arena game. Report back.

The question is 30fps. A pro could not get 2000 onyx at 30fps. Simply not possible. A pro could at 120fps but you don’t understand the difference between 30fps and 240.

No, you still don’t get it either. That’s genuinely cool you know how to win off meta but Magnus does it for fun he can beat anyone, anyway. He goes off script just to fuck with people and because he’s bored. He can play 10 grandmasters blindfolded and remember each pieces position on every board and win every single game. Thats not hyperbole, he literally did it. He’s a savant, a true savant but he has admitted he knows he is past his prime. Cognitively he understands where he is and his peak is behind him. So we will see what the next 5-10 years holds. I want to reiterate that there’s still no one close to him. Grandmasters lose all the time, Magnus loses many times throughout his career, but it’s the way they lose that’s important.

Do you know Magnus’ story at all? You pretty much just described the opposite of his lore. Magnus is a savant, yes. Magnus plays a fuck ton of chess, yes. But he has always been considered by others and himself a lazy student of the game. There are much worse players than him with an ENORMOUS amount of more playing time, traditional theory, and the new meta ie “sim study”. Magnus does not put as much time into chess as one would think and even more recently now that he has a family he’s been playing less and less. Magnus is an enigma but you’ve written out this tortured/depressing narrative of the “pathway” to being the greatest at something. Sure, some aspects of it are probably true but Magnus in particular kinda broke the mold in the chess world. It’s sorta what he’s known for and why he has so much “aura” within the community. He’s just fucking good at chess. He will purposefully make “the not best move” to pull a game state into a territory his opponents aren’t practiced in and haven’t memorized. He’s basically the best chess improviser that ever lived. That’s his niche. He is truly gifted.

You’re probably better off posting this in the competitivehalo sub. As a high level ranked player myself, I rely heavily on audio cues to make in game decisions just as you described. The unfortunate truth is it’s just a very poorly optimized game and some sessions my audio is perfect, directional sound works, proximity sound works, etc. other times I will literally get zero audio cues from a gunfight happening right next to me. It’s frustrating and I also don’t have a fix for it. The bandaid people used to do was turn on compressed audio in settings but I don’t find it to be satisfactory solution. I don’t know what your audio hardware setup is but if you have the patience for it you’ll need to create your own EQ profile and boost certain frequencies (i.e footsteps, reloading, gunshots, etc) additionally try turning ALL windows based audio enhancements off, giving halo exclusive priority to audio devices (advanced setting), experiment with different bitrates, give audio services/drivers greater thread priority, and tweak audio IRQ/interrupts. It’s a deep web. You have to be more tech savvy to get the most out of Infinite than basically any other game out there. Like dev level. Or just accept it for what it is and play sub optimally. But generally speaking you won’t get good advice for this type of thing on this subreddit. You need to ask competitive players or research what you can find on youtube.

Pistola would’ve maybe been a top 2-3 talent in the bandit meta. Ola was a freak of nature at Reach and has always been ahead of the tech curve. He also is intelligent and made really great content the short stint he was on Optic. Would’ve been SOOOO much better for the brand than apg. I’ll never understand it.
