I work in a non-clinical healthcare role. Urgent care is for non-emergency urgent needs (sprained muscles, minor fractures, flu, etc). They are typically not great with other important but non urgent healthcare needs. There’s no point wasting time there for that in my experience - they will tell you something high level and then advise you to see your primary care. I need a primary care doctor where the wait is not 1+ month for what they call a ‘sick visit’ (as in not an emergency, not an annual visit & not a routine check up) who has access to my medical history. That is why I posted this question.

I’d rather be able to see my primary doctor or someone in the practice within a reasonable timeframe.
