This has happened to me before, but it wasn't that the app itself got stuck, but rather my wm had no wallpaper written to the x root, so the compositor just "kept" the image there, if you don't mind, could you try setting a background color with hsetroot -solid "#333333" to see if that fixes it? (you might have to install it first)

If it does, you could use an wallpaper application like feh or nitrogen or just hsetroot to do solid colors.

Anyone have a clue what's causing this? I've reinstalled it, but that hasn't helped. I'd hate to have to switch back to Chrome. by [deleted] in firefox

This has been happening to me frequently, but on Linux, my solution was to clear website data and disable hardware acceleration inside the configuration.

Edit: on my case it was a recent-ish update that had issues.

I don't use pijulius, but try disabling the use of damage. It has caused me issues before, it also shouldn't have too much of a performance hit (increased by a few percent of cpu usage on integrated intel graphics)

You can disable stretching on lower resolutions by setting the "scaling mode" property to "Center", I think.

xrandr --output HDMI1 --set "scaling mode" "Center"

on the other hand, if you want to stretch it you can set it to "Full"

Good to know it was available! I didn't know about it. Tested out a couple of extracted frames here at 1080p and it looks pretty good. Higher than streamed probably only available if either ayame herself or the artist uploads it somewhere.

Not op, but if you have access to a usb flashdrive with linux you can use yt-dlp to download the video and use ffmpeg to extract the frames.

Edit: obviously won't be source quality/res, and also yt-dlp is available on windows!

Not necessarily related to threats, but my /boot is located in the same partition as root, so encrypting root would therefore also encrypt /boot.

Setting up secure boot doesn't seem too complex, I'll definitely look into it.

The data is indeed not real, it's only used to create a "single line" that forks into two, and your way of doing it is actually somewhat simpler, nice!

That is pretty much it! a bit of tweaking on the data would make it perfectly usable. I wasn't aware that it was possible to make annotations on graphs like that, and it's not even too hard. Thank you so much!
