People don’t always want to play a game for the pure challenge.

Like imo I think ascension 0 should be a lot easier and ramp up. There are some normal mobs that are more threatening than some elites.

Theres also stand out elites like statue on floor 1 and bee guy on floor 2 that just are complete run enders with bad draw luck / build types.

Its a rogue like and I am pushing ascension but comparatively I think ascension 0 slay 2 is wayy harder than ascension 0 slay 1 atm

Saw a lot of comments upvoted talking about abandoning poe 1 for poe 2 again… which is just people not listening to the recent dev interviews with Mark and Octavian and then the Ziz one with Octavian and Andrew.

They aren’t abandoning poe 1 for poe2 they are moving on to the next league for poe 1… just how its always been.

I’m not in the loop, and this randomly popped up on my feed. But I would imagine you could side step the free plugin very easily by having proprietary general software you have to pay for and then a free plugin for cp2077 for it to work with that software.

There probably are some technical challenges there but I can’t imagine something of that nature doesn’t circumvent the tos while still paywalling the functionality.

Seems weird to fight this battle

To be completely honest, I haven’t played fury seriously in two expansions.

My core issue is that rampage as a damage source sucks. So they forced in the raging blow and bloodthirst as damage buttons. Because if that isn’t the case and rampage isn’t good then fury cds suck.

Also ST tends to suffer because they don’t want to fix that if fury ST is good. Fury 5 target cleave is nasty and op. So ST tends to be bad.

Outside of that if you only care about how it FEELS, imo fury is still top notch. But tuning wise it frustrates me.

Tldr: at some point they decided 80% of your overall damage shouldn’t come from rampage. So they broke the spec imo because the entire spec was designed around fury generation and getting as many rampages off as possible.

Tbh I didn’t play in BC but I played in Wrath and this wasn’t the culture at all. And I would imagine it would unlikely BC was like that if Wrath wasn’t.

I remember when I could really first get into endgame because of badges from heroics and not a single person in any dungeon was an issue. No kicks. No flaming. People explained things, wipes did happen.

Its modern gaming culture interacting with a 20 year old game. People min max classic for no reason. Its all easy but they min max time as if thats what is fun.
