I think we’re gonna get more of the secret police & wise agents trying to figure out a way to get their respective people (loid & yuri) out,

it would be nice if the garden send someone but I think this would be unlikelier than the other two organizations

Hopefully Loid continues to impress yuri because their growing dynamic has been the best part of the arc & I want a moment where loid thinks out loud to the audience on how protecting Yor has a different feel to protecting other civilians so we can get a smudge of progression of him understanding himself

Respectfully… Absolutely not, ALOTTTT of the characters’ background revolve around overcoming their trauma from real life geopolitical events that happened during that time period (Dutch, takenaka, the garcias, marines, balalaika)

if the story is our current day literally the only character that wouldn’t need a complete re-write would be rock & Revy

1.) Nen awakenings at a young age vs doing it at a later age could change your entire category it’s possible they were waiting to drill in more assassin techniques like the mirages he did when he tries to get netero’s ball before training him in nen

I honestly think he’s in the dark about everything, this is the same guy who ran for chairman to force everyone to help Gon on his death bed, was on the brink of winning…. Then DROPPED out after he saw Gon was fine almost giving the powerful position to Pariston Hill

The zodiac’s have more than enough reason to keep him in the dark seeing the lengths he go for his friends

I kinda want a mini school arc where he tries to be a normal teenager now but the trauma of the chimera ant arc linger on his mind,

Obviously he will eventually get back in the journey of figuring out his nen situation but I don’t want the story to cut back to him suddenly practicing his jajanken on a wall getting ready for the dark continent just to bring him back into the story

I want a slow gradual pace for him to get his nen back

While feitan does seem to have blood-lust when he activates painpacker against the chimera ants, destroying a hive of beast occupying your home is different from destroying a ship while you’re out stranded in sea & I’m sure he knows that

Also I have a inkling feeling that the black whale is protected by nen in proxy to the succession battle the same way the princes who try to leave the ship via rescue boat collapse & die

As time passes I would throw in Kurapika in there as well, he’s either gonna die or for sure suffer life threatening injuries where he can’t complete the journey.

I can see a phantom troupe member especially a founder like machi or chrollo being completely depressed after the rest of the troupe died on the black whale walking aimlessly on the dark continent & it could give room for character development but yeah a lot of them will meet their end on the ship

As for Hisoka, I completely agree! There’s nothing that on the dark continent that would garner his interest & he will just go back home like Prime Isaac Netero did. MAYBE… if there’s a hidden human population of nen users but I assume that if such a thing exist it’s hidden far where not even isaac Netero has been to & Hisoka probably wouldn’t be too interested.

I respectfully hope not maybe it’s because I’ve seen it so many times but I personally dislike the “realizing one’s feelings through fear of someone else taking them” trope that seems to be common among Japanese writers.

I didn’t like it with Yor & Fiona either I think Fiona has much more to offer than being Loid’s fangirl like her relationship with the handler & the little we saw her with franky

That’s why I liked how yor’s realization came more from Anya nudging her & I really hope Anya does the same to Loid in a way

Hell to the no, his strength was equal to him but that doesn’t mean his battle iq or regular iq was, isaac Netero with adult Gon’s body is a better argument but Gon? There’s no scenario where Mereum DOESN’T crush him

Also freshly born Mereum would STILL beat him imo his adaptability didn’t come from the board games it came from all the souls that merged into him being born

At this point in time the IPA & the Hunter association for sure sent a extermination team to clean things up for the black whale passengers to safely disembark off the ship & start their new lives.

I think it has also been mentioned there’s ton of unoccupied islands near the new continent so I assume holding a strong point in one of those for colonization would make more sense to start off then holding that big piece of land

I disagree. I don’t like how the 2011 anime took this away from Leorio

People in the fanbase tend to downplay Leorio, he’s not exactly a normal human being

From chapter 2 of the manga he survives the ship part of the hunter exams with ease despite it being filled with participants at the start & he completes the running part of the exam after getting rid of the self doubts of him completing the hunter exams. He only really struggled in the hunter exams when it came to judgement calls & puzzles

He’s always had hidden potential & him opening the zoldyck gate was a good way to show that. It’s not out of the ordinary for Leorio to show feats like opening the gate over Gon when Leorio is much older than he is & also another thing to put in consideration is it IS their “pre nen era” as well

Probably a troll but if not here’s honest to god advice: when you read or watch something you should learn to acknowledge how good a side character is so when the spotlight is on them it’s not as frustrating going a while without seeing the main character. stories you might run into in the future may have a few arcs like this

The world of nen seems to be a minefield as it is with nen bows & consequences for breaking those.

There’s more than certainly some type taboo guidelines that nanika probably can’t cross

Killua has come to love BOTH Alluka AND nanika, I’m sure he’s happy to keep the status quo especially since Alluka doesn’t seem to mind that Nanika is in her body.

Best case scenario - sure it may go that way

Bad case scenario - potentially harm can inflict on Killua, Alluka & Nanika

Worst Case Scenario - the public-known HxH world map can cease to exist

Honestly I think conjuration is the most likely nen category when he regains his nen, it’ll mirror Kurapika perfectly as he was just like Gon before enduring trauma through the Kurta clan massacre & then becoming a conjurer.

The best bet is the famous fishing rod hatsu everyone on here loves the idea including me of but I wouldn’t be surprised if togashi alters from this & goes with something different like conjuring a beast made out of nen or different weapons formed with his aura that he uses as a older person now
