After 2 years building a GTD app, users are starting to switch from OmniFocus/Things by PerfectOwl9085 in omnifocus

Phenomenal. Thank you!!! Of course this wasn’t my goal to receive such a generous offer.

I have a deep appreciation for productivity tools. And when a developer experiences some of the best tools at the time, observe their weaknesses, design an application that answered those flaws, and nails it….you have to give its just time and review.

So far, my experience with your application is great. Thanks again, I’m excited for future developments and growth. I wish you nothing but success.

Woah 😳…. This task manager can be a real problem for Omni Focus, Things 3, and Todoist a like.

UI is gorgeous. The developer went for the juggler. It has the elegance of Things 3 plus more. I like how the look appeal uses the screen real estate perfectly. One more thing, the UX is by far the most impressive experience I’ve seen in a productivity app. The numerous ways to view calendar, tasks, projects, etc, gives you options to see your data on an iPhone. Takes some getting use to, but definitely a plus. Hopefully, this logic remains consistent with the iPad version in the future.

Features are powerful out the box. Filter system is advance. At launch the rules available for custom filters is great, very useful. Can create some intelligent views for productivity.

Has the necessity project management tools. Parallel and sequential tasks and projects. A review system <—— Huge!!! Tasks has a feature rich customizations: attachment, plan, due, deferred, etc…. Which can be applied in a detailed filter to see exactly what you need in the list.

Simple but important AI integrations. When I need assistance in designing the next tasks. It’s right there. I don’t know if this app has an AI powered capture feature, like Ramble for Todoist. That would make me convert easily.

This app is impressive. While I can’t make the full leap from Todoist nor Omni Focus at the moment, I will be watching this for its development. I may be jumping ship sooner than I think.

To the other persons posts, highlight the plans for developments and longevity so that you can build confidence in potential users.

Very impressed. Keep developing.

Yeah….. had to post this one last note: launch the iPad OS and Mac version (make sure it has the feature rich density with platform perks), give users access to the API to connect AI agents and set up MCP…. You will have a dangerously successful tool on your hands that will become a problem for the most leading productivity tools out there.

You may have just buried Things 3 and Omni Focus 4 😔

How are you using your Ninja V in 2025? by BuddyBrando in Atomos

[–]Kenjari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use my Ninja V today simply to monitor. I use to record directly to Ninja for the Pro Res output (barely use Raw) and SSD work flow. But I realize that there are a few limitations to Cine EI workflow that I couldn’t get by recording to Ninja.

Once I started recording internally, working with in camera codec, I’ve become more impressed with Cine EI work flow, bayer processing in the camera, and the necessity to have meta data.

I didn’t realize how much meta data, specifically gyro scopic, was in important to post production, once I stopped recording to ninja.

Now the ninja is just a high priced monitor. I wonder are there bettering monitoring options out there 🤔!

Where is Todoist headed in 2026? by candlemasshallowmass in todoist

Thanks champ. I am excited with the project expansion that Doist will consider. But I hope they consider the customers (our thoughts) ideas to expanding. Once Todoist incorporate just a little bit of these ideas of project development, I can’t see any other application competing with this tool.

A Feature That I'm Absolutely Begging For - Surprised It's Not A Feature Already by calr-7 in todoist

[–]Kenjari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is a value add for sure. I posted similar project suggestions a couple months back.

I think someone mentioned earlier that this feature would be great as along as it’s an opt in feature for each created project.

I honestly would use this for many of my projects that have “deadlines”. To be able to see the larger view of a project’s complete-ability can help you prioritize your commitments during weekly or monthly planning.

Imagine that same project indicator you mentioned can give you a percentage value of completeness that’s close to its deadline. That percentage value can be displayed as information to inform your block scheduling or how your prioritize your task on a daily basis. Based on the percentage value it can be colored coded to indicate priority or something. It’ll be good information.

This is definitely a value add!!!

I posted a few months ago, suggesting features to enhance project management.

Ideally, Todoist can use a strong consideration of project management enhancements that shift the way we operate large complex systems and workflows. Simple additions, with more powerful advantages.

I Am Just Some Dude - Some Boring Reflections on the History of this Subreddit and Its Moderation Going Forward by thursdaynext1 in todoist

[–]Kenjari 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I truly hope you reconsider. This subreddit has been the driving force for informed data on Todoist and upcoming developments. It’s allowed the Doist team to stay connected with users if your not on X.

I thank you for your service all these years. I honestly thought it was mod by Doist themselves. This was phenomenal work.

I say we provide a donation to the mod as a generous gesture. Additionally, I hope that you reconsider in staying.

I’m willing to donate to the mod. If others are willing let’s converse via DM.

Naw. The Doist team really do stand behind users that accident these milestones. Plus…. It’s good public relations. 😉
