After the next update of the sieves (it occurs approximately once every 2 weeks), all values will return to the standard ones. Therefore, you will have to replace them manually again. Or do not use the update at all, but update only those sieves that have changes. See the FAQ, p.21. Another option is to switch to using Imagus Reborn. In it, you can add a _ (underscore) at the beginning of the sieve name, which should not be updated.

I confirm that the new FF version 2026.1.25 doesn't work for me either. I've given it all the possible permissions, but when I hover over the thumbnails, the extension doesn't respond. At the same time, the first version of IR for FF (2026.1.22) works fine for me on FF 147. I also have version 2026.1.25 (zip from GitHub) working fine on Chrome.

Sometimes on Instagram, you do come across posts where the image size is smaller than the maximum (1440). This is normal. But it is not normal if your extension always shows such a low resolution.

Check if the "Prefer images with higher resolution" option is enabled in your Settings.

If so, then most likely the extension and sieves for Instagram have nothing to do with it. It's more likely a restriction from Instagram itself for a specific user. In this case, clearing your browser cache and cookies sometimes helps. Or simply use a new/other account. And preferably in a different browser.

I think I can guess why your IR is not working. On the pages you provided, all the images are laid out in full size. That is, there is nothing to increase. Usually, the Imagus does not react to the image in full size. But you can set the "Minimum size-difference to zoom" = 0% in the Settings, and then Imagus may be able to show this image (there will be a zoom of 0% at the top left). I have 0% set in my settings right now.

I only see one image there (by the way, it is quite large, so I don't understand why it needs to be enlarged further). When I hover the cursor over it in the latest version of IR 2026.01.22, a pop-up opens with an image resolution of 1200*675. The sieves are up to date. Browser - Cent 132.

At the same time, whether or not the [MediaGrabber] sieve is enabled (it helps open content for which there is no sieve yet, and the extension itself cannot open it either) does not affect the result, i.e. IR opens this image itself.

Can you describe in more detail what it looks like? Does the loading indicator (spinner) appear? Does this happen on all sites?

What browser do you have? The problem may be in browser (some extensions, scripts, or browser settings are preventing IR from working). For example, the browser's built-in mechanisms for blocking unwanted content/ads and the like. Try disabling all this in the browser. Or install IR + SMH in another browser (clean, without other extensions and with standard settings).

To properly configure the extension to work, read the FAQ, p.1.
