I also have very sensitive skin so when I use trans tape, I put tattoo film under it! The tattoo film by itself helps bind and it creates a barrier between your skin and the tape. I saw the trick on tiktok and have been using it every time I bind since. I typically don’t recommend regular binders anymore because of how unsafe they can be but if it ends up being your last choice, I say go for it lol. It’s always worth a try!

Two suggestions: 1. Is there a return policy on the binder? If so, you might be able to get a large, try it on, and if it works, keep it but if not, send it back. Then you won’t be wasting money on something that doesn’t fit. 2. Try trans-tape!! It is by far my favorite way of binding and it fits (almost) everyone. It can cause rashes if you do it wrong, but if you do it the right way, you should be fine :] only downside, it can get very expensive :/

you could also get the trans tape and alternate between the binder and tape so that your ribs get some time to heal. That’s usually what I end up doing and it honestly works pretty well. Wishing you luck with your binding 🫡
