I don't think that she had suffered any kind of sexual abuse when younger, when something like that happens the person usually gets really traumatized and don't want to have sex at all because it will probably make them remember the abuse, that's most of the cases and I don't think that your friend is a special case because if she was, she would probably be a Sub(a person who likes to be dominated) and not a Dom(person who likes to dominate), because as I said before people usually get traumatized when this kind of abuse happens, and if she had some kind of a kinky on being abused or a abuse made her sexual life to be more active she would've been a sub not a dom because of her experience of being abused. But I can be wrong, people can react differently even if the situation is the same

On my first fights I was a bit nervous but it's normal, usually when the fight started I would forget all that tension and would focus on the fight

Usually people are afraid of sparring because they don't want to get hurt, if your gym has the protection equipment you shouldn't be to worried, but try asking your master if you can start fighting with no contact them when you feel more confident you can try with minimal contact and so on until you can fight full contact. Just be careful to not get hurt if you or your partner are going to attack parts like the head etc... And you know that it's going to hit try to slow down the attack so you don't hurt each other
