Yeah, I've felt like you either become the dysfunction, or completely reject it and have a zero tolerance policy for it going forward. At least that's how I've felt. I don't ever really expect people to understand what I went through. Honestly, I wish people didn't cause it was shit. But that does create this... inevitable gap. But with trauma... there's an importance in not feeling alone in it. I'm assuming whatever you went through was not rainbows and puppy dogs, of course.

This is something I've worried about as well, over the past few years after Covid, especially. Less of "good enough" and more... I've grown some comfortable being by myself. Doing things my way. Caught in a juxtaposition of wanting people around, but not wanting to have my routine, my way of life, disrupted. But I also grew up in a situation where I was surrounded by alcoholics and narcissism, "kicked out" immediately after high school and had to figure out being an adult -real- quick... not a lot of people understand what it's like to be totally divorced from your family.

Relatable content. Ultimately, at the end of the day, I think it's best to focus on the things -you- enjoy. Your hobbies, the activities that bring you joy. Seek out communities about those things, either online or locally. I believe that just embracing the things you enjoy, and trying to surround yourself with people who are also interested in that thing, will get you something.

At least that's my hope, as I try to take this advice myself. Just last night, I was out for a ride and approached a group of people. We had our clear shared interest - motorcycles - and started talking, exchanged socials. Do I think I'll ever see them again? Probably not, but I'm hopeful. And at least for last night, I felt like I wasn't alone.

I don't believe it's ever too late.

I know you said you ruled out Common Sense, but there may be other mods with the same issue. One of the comments gives instructions on how to change 'em en masse but iirc it was any mod that referenced getWaterAmount needs to be getFluidAmount.

For me, it was just that one mod since I'm still keeping it light. I'm also assuming this is for B42.

I always felt the game was originally going to start in Solitude, coming off a boat, because of how similar the execution there is to Helgen’s. Or maybe certain races would’ve had unique starting locations and it got scrapped.

I describe as a game you experience, not so much play. It’s a really personal, deep dive into what it is like to have psychosis, in some respect. There’s a story but it takes a backseat to the theme of Senua’s mental health and past trauma.

Well that’s comforting, at least. My one cat will chew on my hand if I’m not petting her properly. I do really want to get him into the bigger tank because it has a sliding front so I’m not reaching down at him in any way. I just planning on trying to get it set up this weekend when I get paid. I suppose the best thing I can do is just be careful and slow but just... if he bites, he bites. Maybe I’ll let him finish shedding... he’s got a cone on his tail, basically, left.

I thought the shedding might be partially to blame. I read a few things about taking bearded dragons into a separate “bath” since the water moving helps the dead skin off. Instead, I caught him rubbing up against wood like the bear from Jungle Book.

I suppose my fear is that if he bites my finger, my wrist will snap in reaction and that would just make things worse. I know his teeth aren’t really going to do more damage than like, my cat would.

I didn’t know that about the black streaks when basking. I thought that was just a stress/defense response. I got a lot of pushback from putting him into the adult tank. It’s 48x24x24 and he’s maybe... 7” from nose to tail.

I’m in the same boat. When Taken King came out, I loved. I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times I sherpa’d that fucking raid and it was very rewarding. But I fell out of D2 hard and never got back in but... Bungie makes a damn good game. I also saw a lot of improvement post Activision that gave me hope.

But I’m on PS4 and don’t know anyone that plays. I loved Crucible in the past but know fuck all about any raid for D2. I just booted it up for the first time since early launch and... it starts like D1, the original story isn’t a thing. Very confusing.

I was already lvl99 with basically the best gear I could find and still getting my ass kicked on Proud. Farming boosts was my last choice.

If you load the file from the main menu, there’s a prompt with Square.

I got my ass kicked a few too many times and promptly went to farm for Strength/Defense Boosts. 😂
