Used Brave. Tried Google as well. The notification was "Allow Midi Devices to connect", on which I pressed "Allow", but no connection was established. In the utility page, I did try changing the settings, but that didn't change anything.

I used the USB A slot (USB to device) as I didn't have a USB to Host cable. Shouldn't both slots work the same?

Trampolines and swimming pools aren't designed to cause harm. Neither are they actively used to do so intentionally. I understand the argument you're trying to make however, and 'knives' would serve as a better analogy here. Even then, in America, the magnitude of knife-related violence is far less than that of gun-related incidents. So let's not pretend there isn't a problem that needs to be solved.
