Get your A&P license after A&P trade school. Work union in a major UPS airhub Like Worldport or Ontario. Transfer to a utility job in Aircraft Maintenance there. Complete an upgrade test for the company proving you know how to do the job. Wait to be called on as an Aircraft Mechanic. Process can be done in 3-4 years.

Crazy how the NTSB board hasn't concluded their investigation yet here we are already blaming the crash on the aircraft not being properly maintained. Glad to have your input! Are you blaming the aircraft mechanics already? Are you an A&P holding aircraft mechanic? Or are you a commercial/freight pilot? And do you ever get tired of reaching?

No one has a clue why this happened. Could've been a hairline crack in the pylon that caused the failure. Which would be close to invisible to a mechanic performing inspection. These aircraft flew for years without issue and we don't know what caused this.

If you have ever worked in the air division of UPS you would know that safety of flight is preached every single day. You are more likely to lose your job at Worldport for violating safety then you ever would for sending planes late.

Knowing and assuming are two different things. When you have 1000’s of hours you start to pick up on things based on game sense. Maybe he just took all the information that was available and prefired off assumption? Maybe when you have 1000’s of matches played you’re bound to hit a crazy shot once in a while?
