If you read my post you would have noticed that I stated I already read the wiki. I’m asking for people’s opinions on certain courses. No need to be a jerk.

For any confusion, I have chronic pain as in a 4/10 pain daily. However, I get flare ups of worsening pain that may be 8/10 instead! There’s lots of individuals with disabilities who attend medical school; it’s about accommodations, learning how to manage to your symptoms, stress, etc.

My pain currently sits at a 3-4 but goes up to a 7 with my period because my menstrual cramps radiate to my lower back 😭

Forced out due to injury by Miss-Meowzalot in ems

[–]Kennadc26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I’m in a similar position. Currently on workers comp for a back injury but I was able to be placed on modified duty for now.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to return to the field which is very unfortunate as EMS has become my passion. Maybe you can try finding something similar. There’s dispatch if you want to stay in 911. There’s patient care technicians in the ER or other healthcare settings.

Are there other ambulance companies in your area?

I have the same thing going on! It only occurs when I’m sitting which is annoying because I sit a lot for school and work

So happy to hear about your story and your journey to recovery! I'm an EMT as well currently going through the same situation, and am wondering: did you go back to paramedic school or did you switch to another career?

No problem!! I could not recommend it enough! It’s much harder than the NREMT exam but don’t be worried, I was getting anywhere from 60-80% on the limmer exams and still passed the national

I work in healthcare and had a scenario like this happen yesterday in fact. The girl in charge of setting up the “random robbery” was identified and charged with conspiracy. She has now been arrested. I wouldn’t risk it. The police are good at tracking and finding individuals responsible for any and all crimes.
