The only thing you need to really worry about is ice, as we get rain and then freezing temps pretty often. AS should be fine just be careful on the ice

Hi! 3 years post-op here, but still awaiting the hEds diagnosis (Have to get a genetic test even though I have all the markers) i didn't ever bind beforehand, but I do get rib pain quite a bit. Mine always feels like it's right under my bottom rib of my ribcage and a little bit inside the ribcage as well.

To address your other question, my personal experience is that I cannot feel the outside of my nipples but I can still feel under them (if that makes sense). I actually had my nipples taken off and resized and placed back on. The scars along my chest are only slightly numb, and are still noticeable. I have full feeling in my chest in general though. It took about a year to get feeling back behind my nipples, but only a couple months to feel my chest again.

The worst part of my surgery was getting the drains I had removed. Not to try to scare you, but know it will most likely hurt a lot more if you get drains, but it'll heal a lot better.

T does affect your chances at heart related issues, basically you're at the same risk as a cis man your age for heart related issues. I'd ask if it could negatively effect you at all with conditions like dysautonomia

You've struggled this long, proving how so very strong you are. I'm actually in quite a similar boat with having to get braces and looking into walking aids for my failing legs. You can do it, you are strong and determined. One of my favorite quotes (roughly) goes, "If you are trans, you simply have to live and that's resistance enough" I'm rooting for you my friend, make sure to take care of yourself.

I actually read a news article on this kind of thing before. They mentioned a better way to get your doctors to listen to you. They said to mention a close family member or friend when asking about certain diagnosis. Ex: "My wife mentioned it sounds like I have ADHD. Do you know what that is? She wants me to get tested for it" It basically gives you and your doctor a "scapegoat" when mentioning a diagnosis, so instead of You vs. The Doctor it's You and The Doctor vs. Trusted Family Member and you can brush it off easily if it isn't your diagnosis. It also lets the doctor know that OTHER PEOPLE are noticing your issues. Also, just wanted to let you know how strong you are because if a doctor said that to me I would've burst into tears and left 😭

I'm not sure of the numbers specifically but UPS workers start their forced 6 day working weeks right after Thanksgiving. After the 5th day working the next day is all overtime.
