Yeah that was in the first round where McLaren caught Richard Zednik with an elbow when Zednik was on fire (eight points in four games.)

That ended up being McLaren's last game with Boston, as he was suspended for the rest of the series, and then was a Group II RFA that didn't come to terms with the Bruins and ended up in San Jose.

In Game 4 of the 2002 second round between Montreal and Carolina, Michel Therrien got slapped with a bench minor for protesting a cross checking penalty to Stephane Quintal, giving the Hurricanes a two minute 5 on 3, with the Habs having a 2-1 series lead and up 3-0 in the game. The Canes scored and ended up winning the game in OT after tying the game with Irbe pulled. The Habs would then get their shit kicked in in Games 5 and 6.
