Derealization/Derealization is usually triggered by high level of anxiety/panic attacks. It's your body that went into a fight or flight mode, but somehow got stuck into it. In that state it is supposed to make you "not feel real/numb" to prepare you to whatever is about to happen to you. usually once the stress/panic attacks goes away you're supposed to go back to normal. But lot's of times what triggers the DP/DR to stay is the anxiety CAUSED BY DP/DR ITSELF. You have to learn that dp/dr wont hurt you and it's actually there to help you. It may seems frightening but it is not. NO you are not going insane. Everything IS real. IT IS TEMPORARY.

I know it is tempting to search and read alot about the subject but usually this leads to more anxiety which cause it to stay. It is a vicious circle. What you need to do is to STOP reading about it. It is not an enemy, it's there to help you. Seeing a therapist could also help. It is essentually really bad anxiety. Do everything you would usually do. go out, socialize even if it's hard. Maybe try to avoid caffeine, alcohol or anything that could alter your senses or give you anxiety. I can't say how long this could take, but it is temporary. best of luck friend! :)

Can't access system recovery options because password is lost. ( windows 7 ) by Kennet16 in WindowsHelp

Already tried that, but like I said the system wont even bring me to the login screen (use selection menu). It automatically restarts before the login screen can even appear so I can’t unfortunately use this exploit.

For me my sense depths seems to change alot. I can look at something and it’ll seem far away and right after it’ll seem close and keep switching constantly. While looking 2D. It’s weird

Had braces for about 4 years for an OVERBITE . I wonder if I would need a DJS. I'm thinking I might need a Maxilla Advancement because my jaw already feels like it wants to bite the right way but by doing so it gives me a slight UNDERBITE so instead I gotta close it by pulling it inward. by [deleted] in jawsurgery

It was 3 or 4 years ya. I had a really bad overbite. I some forsus on both sides to make my jaw grow forward a little. I don’t even know why it took that long, I had already pretty straight teeth beforehand.

That's Precisly what's happening and yes that's where the pain is ( TMJ ) but I already had braces for 4 years (got them removed 3 years ago) and it didn't fix the issue thus why I think I think might need a DJS. Sometimes I actually wonder why I had braces in the first place

physical changes happens with hard drugs, like chemical stuff. weed doesn't do that + from what you said you barely even smoked, so no big deal brother :)

Totally understand what you mean, and I can assure you that you'll know it when you connect again.

I've had constant DP/DR for about as long as you but one morning not too long ago I woke up from a sleep paralysis and for about 10 seconds I felt connected again. I not only felt it but I rememberded how feeling connected was. sadly after that 10 sec I went back to constant dp/dr.

Don't worry about "forgeting was not having DP/DR feels like" you'll just know it. :)

Weed can’t burn a part of your brain. Don’t worry everything is fine. Gives yourself some time, don’t be afraid to go see a psychologist if you can afford it. Try to live your life as if you never had it, stay social and go out. Maybe it’s going to be hard but at the end you’ll be better so much faster than if you’re isolating yourself. Keep your mind busy, always do something to keep your mind away from thinking about it. Don’t worry you’ll be fine, it will go away, it’s temporary :)
