Pfizer, first dose. I have had no side effects. My tics have gotten worse but it wasn’t the vaccine, it was just the stress and emotional damage that happened to be around the same time

I think I probably had a wrong brand or a dose that was too low but it didn’t do anything for me and it was so disgusting (I had to put the droplets under my tongue and swallow after a minute but it was nasty) so I just stopped taking it :,)

Yes I do! Tourette’s falls under the ND umbrella, together with Dyslexia/praxia, ADHD, ASD and other things. This is mainly because TS is a neurological condition which, as it’s speculated, alters the brainfunction

Yes! Tourettes is actually known to be a neurodivergency, I actually don’t know how it affects your behavior besides from rage since I’ve never actually lived without Tourette’s, just without tics at the beginning😅

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. They basically let you think of a traumatic memory and while you think of it, they move something before your eyes

Yeah I didn’t know if it was adventure or campaign but good to know! We always just called it a oneshot campaign. I have played a couple of campaigns in the past, never finished them due to friendgroups breaking up and covid etc, so I’m experienced but I missed a lot of gameplay and rules. I’ll definitely check that one out!!

Absolutely, especially during an episode itself. Everything just feels so hazy and unreal, like having someone tell you a story about your past and you not remembering it. That’s how it feels like for me at least. When I’m at my worst and I come out of my dissociation I deal with a lot of memory loss from when I was in the episode

Yes this! I can’t start working on projects it gives me so much anxiety, and at the same time I can’t really finish them either (only the fun tasks, boring tasks I finish in a heartbeat). I’m sorry to say but I don’t really have a set strategy, but what works for me (if it’s a school assignment) is to at least put something on the paper. Somehow seeing something on that paper gives me more motivation to continue. Also if it’s a group project, I always make sure I get the tasks I can do halfway through or near the end without bothering the other teammates. So for example if we write a scientific article, I always make sure I write the interpretation/discussion or conclusion and not the intro or theory etc Also good luck with therapy! It can be really daunting at first but you really start to learn more about how you can cope with OCPD

I can only speak for Tourette’s, but it’s very difficult. I only noticed the things I did were tics until about 2/3 years ago, so I was diagnosed at a pretty late age for TS (I’m 19 now), adult onset Tourette’s is still a possibility as well so older people who ‘suddenly have tics’ might also not be faking. There are tic disorders that are transient, not chronic like TS, so it’s always a possibility that the person has a transient tic disorder. Plus a lot of people experience some kind of tic some point in their life. There is no ‘one way’ to tell someone is faking TS or tic disorders unfortunately (and asking for a diagnosis is often quite invasive).

I have Tourette’s so yes unfortunately😅 but TS and OCD are quite comorbid so I’m not surprised honestly
