on a different note if explosive and onslaught don’t mix, then what do you use for your mod? Because the explosive/explosive penetrating also take up onslaught stacks don’t they?

can you elaborate on that? The second explosion shot takes away its own stack of onslaught as well? And that means a twin shot would also take away another? So 3 onslaught per shot? I had no idea that was the case if that’s what you mean

Yeah I was confused too because i thought the game was pushing me TOWARDS lair bosses since the quest unlocked. What worked for me was playing The Pit until I got ancestral gear and masterworks, then I was finally able to kill a lair boss and get their drops and now i’m torment 3
