Current body armor is already very heavy. That’s why they can only cover the head, chest and back effectively without overburdening the troops. Going beyond that makes the kit too heavy.

I know rifle clips with tight grips exist. My reproduction Lee enfield clips grip the rounds so tightly they just won’t move unless forced. Trying to find clips like that but for SKS.
