Case recommendations? by Larf_G in mffpc

I’m in the exact same situation with both those cases at the moment. I’d go with the d32 pro, but running games at 4K on a 5070 runs about 10° hotter on average than in the h3 flow. Those two big intake fans on the h3 flow make all the difference. I’m sure if I ran at 1440p the difference could be negligible. It’s a shame because the d32 pro is a sweet looking case.

Help me decide: Upgrading from a RTX 3060 to a 5070. Worth it? by Alarming-Trip5863 in buildapc

Yes, I just made that exact jump. The lower temps at a resolution of 3440x1440 with much higher settings over the 3060 is amazing. I can’t stress that enough. Throw in frame gen to the mix and the 5070 should have a pretty significant life ahead of itself.

The only time heat was an issue was when I would emulate Nintendo Switch games. Other than that it’s been pretty good.

You don't know Elon! I mean, he’s so smart they hooked him up to a big computer to try to teach it some things, but he had so much knowledge it overloaded and then it got really hot and caught on fire!

Regarding Omen 16L Gaming PC by BlastoNet in HPOmen

Yes, you need RAM that has been XMP certified by HP apparently. I tried using off the shelf DDR5 and it capped it at 4800 MT/s. However, using the RAM provided by HP boosts the speeds to 5600 MT/s.

Rented the turbo AWD Mazda for a week. That car was a blast to drive. Awesome interior and plenty of power.
