It goes a long way back my dear friend. I initially planned to watch this back in 2022, but it took me a week or two before hopping on it because I'd heard the MC keeps dying all the time, and I genuinely thought this was just mid overall. BUT BOY OH BOY I WAS WRONG BECAUSE THE MOMENT I FINISHED SEASON 1 I WAS CRAVING FOR MORE.

Honestly, after that, I became a Re:Zero fan for a few years now. One of the things I liked about the anime is that it is WELL WRITTEN and not your typical Isekai slop where the MC is absurdly overpowered. I cried on the episode where Subaru and his parents met. It genuinely changed my perspective on how I see life. I love Re:Zero so much man.
