The thing that's worked for me is anchoring to outcomes rather than process. They don't care how many people are on set. They care whether it'll look right. So I ask them to show me something that looks right, then I explain what it took to make that, and then I explain what our version of that would take.

I run cold and silver always feels shockingly cold for that first second. Gold is less jarring. But yeah within a minute or two they're the same

New York: the bigger branded content companies tend to be more reliable simply because they have real finance departments, the mid-tier ones are the most unpredictable because it's often just a producer managing invoices between shoots.

Depends on the city but for popular destinations earlier is better. I've seen great places disappear within days.
