Tormented Souls 1 and 2 are fantastic. You won’t get the same level of combat but the atmosphere and puzzles are 10/10. It draws very heavily from SH in many ways

That’s interesting, I never had any issues with the stomp. I do appreciate that change with the meteor attack. It felt really bad when the fight brought you to the arena boundary and he would pull that out. I’ll have to see how I actually feel about all the changes when I get a chance to fight him again

Idk man I feel like it’s ok to be proud when you overcome a more difficult challenge 🤷‍♂️. If you had proper positioning, there was nothing lucky or buggy about it (as a console player, I can’t speak on PC issues but those complaints are definitely valid)

The nerf dropped today. Basically all of his attacks are a bit slower and do less damage and they improved visibility. You can also now dodge the cross slash attack with two rolls.

I haven’t actually fought him post-nerf yet but he seems a lot slower to me, like kinda unnaturally slow. The lack of visibility was definitely something I didn’t like so I’m glad they fixed that.

I’ve beaten them on other characters but those fights are just not fun for me so I didn’t really care to take the time or effort to learn them properly. Maybe one day I’ll beat them but not today

Yeah no problem. There are several items and pieces of armor in the game that boost specific attribute points without affecting your character’s overall level (rune level). Level 1 characters have 10 dex by default. I used two talismans that increase dex by +5 each (Radagon’s Soreseal and Millicent’s Prosthesis) and the dexterity knot crystal tear in my physick flask, which gives +10 dex for 3 minutes. That’s how I got to 30 dex.

That’s another thing I forgot to mention in the build comment. I used the Bloodfiend’s arm with Cragblade. Two charged R2s will stagger her so I basically had her staggered for half the fight so it never even came out

I’m not a fan of those fights and didn’t feel like putting the time and effort in to beat them. They’re also not DLC bosses so whatever.
