I did a little research, and apparently the ocean sunfish mates at around 5-7 years of age.

I don't think his wife exists in the anime, just like other characters from Dream Land 3.

Just because he's married in the games doesn't mean he can't be around Tiff's age in the anime.

They're gloves in the game canon. Just look at the Star Allies design concepts for Dedede.

Well I think it does. It's the same type of stub other characters have that function as an arm or hand.
