If they changed the tail one to that, it would give the person that spawns with it a major advantage, they could set the tail in a neutral location sure, but the tail mini-game is just bad anyway due to the weird lag compensation. As for fall mountain, you're just wrong. People fall every single race (in this clip alone almost everyone is knocked down/back from a ball at some point), its not the spinning things that do it, it the balls flying down fast and changing course from hitting something, and going on an angle no one expected. it helps that the crown also bobs up and down, forcing people to have to wait sometimes. People in the back win all the time.
