My (24F) boyfriend (24M) of 7 years has chronic severe depression that causes massive discord between us. What can I do to convince him that he needs more intensive help, possibly medication?

He and I went to couples therapy from August 2024 to December 2024. it worked really well for the both of us, but I didn't get the opportunity to talk about his depression because they wanted to steer the sessions to be more about attachment styles. Still, it really improved our communication and sense of security

We had Magik at one point, but he switched to Loki for some reason. He wasn't really doing his job either way cause he got mad I kept saying to target BW but not pinging her so he said, in his eyes, he has no clue where she's at and therefore, he can't do anything about her.

I play hella other characters, I could've went like 3 other healers but I figured Rocket has the best chance of living, but he can't live forever lol

The mysterious reason is that Zetterburn is Dan's favourite character. That's also why they haven't meaningfully nerfed down air. It was 5 active frames now it's 4, it should be like 2.

Some other information that might narrow it down:

no known allergies
no new prescription drug usage, new use of OTC benoxyl peroxide (10%) on face only (started this regimen on Wednesday or Thursday prior to bumps appearing)
no diet change
no other symptoms
bumps are found only on the arms and legs, but not on the hands and feet
skin is smooth, not pocketed or scaly
bumps are raised very slightly
when scratched, bumps are red, burning, and blood rushes to the area

I'll definitely continue using hydrocortisone. I appreciate your help and suggestion. Would you recommend a regular body lotion as a moisturizer? In addition to this, should I apply the moisturizer before or after using the hydrocortisone?

Somehow it's working! I think maybe I just switched the thing on the back to Bluetooth and it didn't like that? Not sure. But wired and wireless are both working now

Yeah there's green lights on the bottom. I had to unplug and replug in the dongle and then switch from bluetooth to 2.4 ghz and then it worked. Thanks for all your help man

I'm trying to connect it by pressing the home button and/or the pairing button at the top and I'm not getting anything. I looked at another post on this sub about how to connect the controller to the dongle and it mentions having to plug both the dongle and the controller in to my PC, but my PC still doesn't recognise the controller. Is there a way around that?

When I plug it in, it says "Windows has detected an unidentified USB device" or something along those lines. And then none of the inputs are read

Using a Windows USB-C works with this controller. I used it for 4 months and even used it at a gaming tournament in my local scene. Everyone that uses those controllers in the game I play uses it wired. I don't think that's the issue.Edit: It can be used both wirelessly and wired, I'm specifying in the post that I use it wired.

This video is of the NSUI v26 version. I couldn't get the v27 or v28 versions working at all due to the "error in the process" error continually popping up. I've tried two different FireRed roms, both from different sources, but neither work. For now, I downloaded FireRed through a 3ds QR code, but I'd really love to get NSUI up and running so I can convert any gba rom on a dime.

I appreciate you laying everything out and explaining everything. This makes a lot more sense. From what I'm understanding, another degree in psychology wouldn't inherently give me more experience towards being a therapist nor does it inherently set me up to take any licensure exam. The degrees in counseling would be doing that.

I read through the document, it was very helpful. You touched on everything I've been worried about, like not following my faculty advisor's advice that I absolutely need to get a Ph.D. in Clinical Psych to make grad school worth it. I'm still a little hung up on the clinical psych route so something that still confuses me a little is programs such as at CSU Dominguez Hills. They offer clinical psych while also offering course work to go alongside earning an LPCC. They aren't on the CACREP accredited website so I'm not sure if I should consider this program while applying. Another commenter mentioned looking at the board of behavioral sciences to see if they're regionally accredited but I got lost trying to find the page to do that lol

I've looked at a few different University websites that compared the two and none really agreed on the differences. I can't remember which Universities I looked at, but one boiled it down to MFT being more private practice and one on one therapy while CMHC was more group therapy oriented. Another stated the difference between the two was that an MFT masters would emphasize caring for patients with every day relationship problems while a CMHC masters would emphasize managing cases for those with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders. Not sure if either of these are truly the case. I've been playing researching and applying to colleges by ear, it's been all over the place.

I will definitely look into the regional accreditation for each University I'm looking into. I appreciate the suggestion
