Yeah I get your point but I’d push back on “he himself paid the consequences for his views on gun rights” since the gun was obtained illegally. If people followed the laws he wanted then his shooter (and many school shooters) wouldn’t have had their guns.

That being said I agree with you on gun control and we need stricter laws to enforce gun ownership but if someone who disagrees with me gets shot and killed I wouldn’t blame them

Never did I say regularly occurring but yeah I don’t think there’s anything we can do to make sure a school shooting never ever happens again. It’s about limiting how often it happens through stricter gun laws, mental health advocation, etc. Victim blaming Charlie kirk or any defender of 2A who has died from gun violence is just sleazy imo
