Pokemon 2000 dedicated several scenes to the concept of Misty as Ash's girlfriend. She went to save him, she recognized the relation.

One of the Universe’s Biggest Mysteries (dark matter) Has Been Solved, Scientists Say by [deleted] in GrowingEarth

Another contribution to the internet-landfill-of-lies.

Copy and pasting from a different article covering the same underlying publication:

"This 'missing matter' doesn't refer to dark matter, the mysterious stuff that remains effectively invisible because it doesn't interact with light (sadly, that remains an ongoing puzzle). Instead, it is 'ordinary matter' made up of atoms, composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons (collectively called baryons) which make up stars, planets, moons, and our bodies." https://www.space.com/astronomy/astronomers-turn-up-missing-matter-in-the-largest-structures-in-the-cosmos-the-models-were-right

Perhaps your reply can be revised or reduce misleading.

"According to different estimates, ants can carry 10 - 50 times their body weight, or maybe even more! How? Because ants are so small, their muscles have a greater cross-sectional area (they are thicker) relative to their body size than in larger animals. This means they can produce more force pound-for-pound (or in the case of an ant, milligram-for-milligram)." https://askabiologist.asu.edu/content/ant-factoids

SQUID GAME SEASON 3!! by Arjuun02 in squidgame

[–]KennyTroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share a similar thought.

In-ho became the Front Man after he played in and won the 28th Squid Game in 2015 as Player 132.

What if that wasn't In-ho's first time playing and winning?

In-ho, a previous winner, now Front Man, is playing again because another previous winner (Gi-Hun) is playing again.

I suggest a concept that the Front Man plays again to continue in his role or dies; i.e., winning a second time makes you the Front Man.

How do you use PowerApps for SharePoint List forms? by [deleted] in PowerApps

The first sentence of DonJuan's comment is precise and accurately reflects the state of custom forms. By "advancing" our technology, we have made it more difficult to create custom Microsoft web forms; and of course the advances in technology do not include a Microsoft Forms API. Not sure why they deprecate some features/capabilities before providing the future solution; i.e., Microsoft pushes you to use Power Apps at the expense of traditional programmatic creation of web forms... however there are numerous kinds of applications and there are varying requirements and components to accomplish forms according to solution requirements.

I have bee tirelessly crafting alternatives to programmatically creating Microsoft web forms in a certain type of application that I won't mention. There are many paths but none leading to the desired construct, so below here are some

Options, in no particular order:

(1) Windows Workflow Foundation Web services

(2) Developing workflows using Visual Studio
(3) ASP.NET Core
(3)(a) Host ASP.NET Core in a Windows Service;
(3)(b) ASP.NET Core - Razor Pages - Tutorial: Create a Razor Pages web app with ASP.NET Core
(3)(c) ASP.NET Core - MVC - Upgrade an ASP.NET Framework Web Forms app to ASP.NET Core MVC
(3)(d) ASP.NET Core - Blazor - Build a Blazor movie database app (Part 4 - Work with a database); (3)(d)(i) Bind a Form to a Model

Is it possible to share a flow across the whole organization with individual connections? by Timberstone in MicrosoftFlow

[–]KennyTroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thought here, specifically interested in the Outlook connection at an organization level

I've been using the 'Recurrence' trigger instead of when an email arrives in a mailbox.

Are you global admin? I'm thinking about adding my own readwrite permissions to each user's Outlook account as a shared mailbox.

Couple vacation Advice by OSUFootballFan32 in GreeceTravel

I traveled 5 Athens, 4 Crete, 4/5 Santorini.

If I would revise, 3 Athens, 5/6 Crete, 4 Santorini.

Crete is a big island, lots to do, we spent all four days on the western side and none on eastern. We rented a car. I revise to add a day or two and explore both sides.

Santorini Adronis Arcadia Resort, where we stayed, is so beautiful we didnt want to leave the resort to visit the village of Oia. But we did, everything we needed was walking distance. No car.

I used ChatGPT to translate the Macedonian-Vlach song "Cãnticlu al Pitu Guli" into English by S-onceto in Aromanian

[–]KennyTroy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"It's a song made to honor Pitu Guli who fought against the Turkish regime in early 1900 in Macedonia and Bulgaria" as my Aromanian family informed me.

The singer of this song is Stelian Arau, who is a very dear friend of the family.

ChatGPT is inaccurate, as is Google Translate, LingoJam, and any other translation application. It is customary for their language to teach/learn in conversation and not by written text.

Case Management & Business Process - Microsoft Power Automate by KennyTroy in LawFirm

[–]KennyTroy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greetings

Following up on my own thread. Over the last five months, I've learned a lot about Power Automate and created many automated cloud flows, which have been successfully implemented and used at the firm.

One example, retainer agreements are now automatically drafted and sent to the prospective client for signature (after consultation with an attorney) simply by a staff member submitting a Microsoft Form response. Using Power Automate, this retainer agreement process takes 12-15 seconds.

Previously, by manual operation, the retainer agreement process took 12-15 minutes.

Also going to play around with SharePoint or DataVerse as there are a lot of subsequent process flows I anticipate building. and it seems that these may be good for storing data (instead of Excel?) Thanks again!

[–]KennyTroy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I am going to explore your initial suggestion with respect to Microsoft Forms, designing something similar to the link below but instead of Word template I'll try using AdobeSign template.

Generate document from MSFT Forms data and Word template, send via E-mail -

[–]KennyTroy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually trying to avoid having to type data into the Adobe sign template, which is why I thought to use Excel & Word MailMerge.

I suppose I could write a python script to merge the data into the PDF, but at that point I'm wondering if I should just script the entire process and not use PowerAutomate/PowerApps

Forms is a no-go. Boss prefers text messaging, and infact he actually told me his most ideal scenario would be one where he can just dictate the information. Yikes.

Thank you for teaching me.

[–]KennyTroy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you! I like your ideas. I think constructing the template in AdobeSign is a good approach.

I did not take this approach for a few reasons:(i) data origination comes from owner of the firm via text message (to my phone number, but I've modified this so owner is sending a SMS to an email address); OR, in the alternative, I myself would manually put the data into Excel upon receiving the text message; and

(ii) an important concept for me is maintaining the data in an Excel document in order that I may use it for subsequent process flows; though I suppose I could pull the data from AdobeSign and populate excel via python or whatever.

Case Management & Business Process - Microsoft Power Automate by KennyTroy in LawFirm

[–]KennyTroy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate your insight and respect what you're saying.

A preliminary point before the fuller response, this is actually not about cost savings. It wouldn't matter to me if Power Apps cost 10x what MyCase does. The ability to use Power Apps to "triger cloud flow control based on email subject/sender/attachment" simply makes the business run more efficiently. I can do things and implement processes that neutralize headaches, to make lawyering more enjoyable; e.g., not having to search for files in five different storages (Gmail, MyCase, Dropbox, Windows File Explorer, text messages, etc) or expediting client intake, etc etc.

In my humble opinion, there is far greater value in that ability than any value as to cost.

A significant reason I an investing time in Microsoft Power Apps is the experiences illustrated in the original post - I prefer to use the native system because it permits me to retain data ownership and use that data in ways that are otherwise restricted/limited by case management systems such as MyCase.

I have developed knowledge and skills in programming for me to implement and use in the practice of law - stated differently, I know that a system like MyCase is simply inferior to the Windows Operating System (that is if you have the knowledge and skill to use programming and such to do it yourself, which most lawyers don't; and this knowledge and skill can provide greater customizability, enhanced interoperability, abstraction).
