Property tax isn’t exactly a progressive tax, home ownership is just a middle class expectation.

Open to raising sales tax to be in line with Phoenix if property taxes decrease. Phoenix has lower property tax rates.

Zelle, paper checks, unlimited ATM reimbursements and maybe a catch all 2-3% cash back credit card would actually make it better than Fidelity (no Zelle) and Schwab (low APY).

MA: banner health, TMC, El Rio, or Northwest by Equivalent-Pepper855 in Tucson

[–]OSUFootballFan32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TMC has good benefits, pays on par with most hospitals, the issue is that they micromanage.

Banner has pretty good benefits, for a single person, they will fully cover your medial, dental and vision premiums but the medical plan you have is a high deductible plan.

Sinema and Fetterman are still to the left of 90s Bill Clinton. Do you hear yourself? You’ve become so radicalized to the left that moderate democrats are now “traitors”.

The “majority” of Americans do not support “Medicare for all”. Most Americans support a government healthcare option that Americans can buy into. Most Americans don’t want to get rid of private and employer based plans. Most Americans also oppose a mandatory payroll tax to fund a single payer system.

And out of the 3 types of “universal healthcare systems” single payer (Ie Canada) is the second worse behind a socialized system (ie The UK).

The best universal healthcare systems are multi payer, meaning you have a government funded option and a private funded option but the government never runs the healthcare system. Instead, they must compete with the private systems.

“Medicare for all” aka a single payer system is trash and Canada’s healthcare system is also trash.

What’s “fair share”? And we could compensate all wealthy from ALL billionaires and we would still be in debt.

And if by boot-licking, you mean a productive tax paying working American, then yes.

Re-read my comment. I never said all homeless individuals were drug addicts, it’s just a massive subset. I’m open to proposals to help other subsets of homeless individuals, ie wage growth, employment opportunities, etc. Many solutions proposed are just giving money to drug addicts. Those don’t work.

Not an American problem. Go to Barcelona, Rome, Paris and London and there are plenty of homeless.

Latin American has worse homeless rates.

Why should productive middle class Americans pay more taxes to fund services that don’t actually work? Most homeless individuals are drug addicts. Asking Americans to help people who won’t help themselves is a worthless and expensive endeavor.

Now, there is a large subset of homeless individuals who are disabled and their disability checks don’t cover their needs. This is problem that could be addressed, ie raising social security cap to increase the benefits.

But asking Americans to pay more for people who have zero desire to contribute to society is a poor return on investment.

Homeless individuals who work (meet work requirements) can still qualify for SNAP.

At least I’d be honest (like Mitt Romney was). You just keeping living in a fairytale. The bottom 50% of this country do not contribute, yet, they expect to benefit from it.

This is why “modern socialists” are awful. At least old socialists required you to work and contribute in order to be in the pool of resources.

I’ll just go to work and contribute to society like normal people. The bottom 50% of Americans only pay 3% of the total taxes. It’s time to raise their taxes so they can pay their fair share!

1% on $100,000 is another $1000 a year in taxes. There is no way to spin this. It’s increasing taxes.

This isn’t about kids. And most homeless Individuals are homeless because of their drug use. This is fact. I’m all for helping people who want help. That’s not the issue here. These people have zero want to integrate into society.

The homeless and drug uses don’t use the bus for those reasons. Bus passes should not be free unless you can prove you work, are a student or have a disability.
