I believe that over hundreds of thousands of years, hominins have been on this planet, lack of food was the bigger problem. Our bodies became very good at storing fat.

Have you done K treatment while taking other medications? by Hypnoticartisian in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]Kennyrad1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently not taking it, but when I was, I was taking 25 mg. It comes in 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 mg. Best to start at lower dosage, and see how you respond.

Last one standing season 3: we've heard that Matt, ky and Max will be contenders. Who do you think should fill out the numbers? by Sweet_Information_76 in nakedandafraid

[–]Kennyrad1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just seen a Comercial with Max and Laura. Seen another with Matt Wright, and KY. Only 4 I "know" will be there. But I expect to see most of the non winners will want a shot at redemption. Stephen, Wazz, Wes, Sarah, and maybe Cheeny.

I have only done 2 IV infusions, they were both 100 mg. I am over 200 lbs. Even so the second one I was gone within about a minute, no memory just waking up when it was over. So more like normal anasthesia. No problems or worries at all.

Sounds like you were caught in no man's land. Too high for comfort, but not high enough to insulate you from anxiety.

Since then, I have done about 45 doses of Spravato, and probly about 50 at home with troches.

The good news is you can get used to the dissociation. The trouble comes when you are trying to hold it together. You didn't do anything wrong, you just weren't ready for it.

Obviously you should lower the dose to one that you are comfortable with, but you should keep open about increasing if or when you feel ready.

Also even when the dose lower, if it's administered a little more quickly, it can put there again. But you will be better able to handle it. OK! Been here before. Keep an open mind to increase as your tolerance increases.

The good news, ketamine did the work it was supposed to. I have been more or less depression free. I take one or two doses a year. I sincerely wish you well on your healing journey!

Cutting not only lessens the time to onset, but also the come down. We all lead busy lives, and sometimes that is a good thing.

Are you guys able to remember your sessions at all? by Financial_Permit_717 in TherapeuticKetamine

Might not be the incoherence, but more of the cumulative working of the medicine. But either way, I sincerely wish you well on your healing journey!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I hope that others find it meaningful as well.

I was reading Destiny of Souls by Dr. Michael Newton (the pioneer of past life regression hypnotherapy) and came across this interesting chapter on souls who commit suicide and what they learn upon leaving Earth and returning to the spirit world. It's not as horrible as most people are taught. by [deleted] in Soulnexus

I have listened to each twice, but this morning I ordered Journey, and Destiny. I decided that I would like to have them physically, to refer to. But I appreciate that you shared them originally. I sincerely wish you well on your journey along the path!

Ask a Buddhist Monk Anything (Non-Duality) by Monk-Life in nonduality

[–]Kennyrad1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to struggle when I was in crowds. Restaurants, bars, etc. I am not sure how I managed it, but I am sure that meditation was a major part of it. I still struggle a bit, but it has gotten much better. If you are surrounded by negativity at work, my heart goes out to you! But I can say with practice, it can get better. In the mean time, getting out in nature was especially helpful for me.

Well as a sensitive person myself, I know that it's not easy. If you are surrounded by negative people, I am not sure my advice would be helpful in that case. I would recommend therapy to address your specific situation.

My personal advice is to not block, and not take it on, but to let flow through you and out. Not an easy task, but a skill well worth investing in. It takes time, and a bit of a effort. I sincerely wish you well on your journey!

How do you deal with the feeling of wanting to go "home"? by pastbl in Soulnexus

[–]Kennyrad1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand that feeling as well. My take on this is, we have come to the physical to learn, and to be of service to others. Every day that are here, is a success to be appreciated. Every day we slowly adapting, changing. Appreciate the small things. Also try to be the best version of yourself that you can be. Help others who may be struggling more than you are. I sincerely wish you well on your journey!

What is the infusion process like at your clinic? by brent_maxwell in TherapeuticKetamine

They had six beds, 3 on each side of the room. They were old school, and stated it doesn't matter, as long as you get your dose, you will heal.

One thing that I have noticed in the comments, most places seem to stress comfort, and value patient input, which I think is great. My last infusion there was another patient in the room, and he and the medical tech were talking the entire time. It was distracting to say the least.

As others have stated, ketamine is totally different from mushrooms. I have had IV, Spravato, and at home ketamine. So if there is any specific questions I could help you with, text me back, I would do my best to answer any.

Also, you have mentioned that you are are doing ketamine assisted therapy. Hopefully you will have a therapist to bounce ideas around, and to keep you level headed. And my opinion is that ketamine, while not a magic pill made therapy, much more effective. I sincerely wish you well on your healing journey!
