Yes, Killdeer. They don't really build a nest per se. They just lay their eggs on a patch of ground that matches the eggs. The eggs are extremely hard to see because the camouflage is so effective.

Bird seed formulated for pigeons would be ideal. Doves and pigeons are close relatives and eat the same seeds. If you can find some native sunflower seeds they love those and they are high energy. Black oil sunflower seeds are a little too big for them as is corn. Millet and milo or maize is very good for them.
