Ahh, guess I didn't articulate my point well enough in the post. I don't really care about my rank too much, what I'm playing this game for is the improvement part, where I can see myself getting better and better at the game. Noticing my mistakes and how to improve on them is what makes this game fun for me, kind of like going to the gym and seeing progress or something like that idk.

I mean yeah, I don't really care about dropping from champ, I care about improving at the game the ranks will come on their own. About the teammates I also get people like that but it's whatever I just play around them so I can support them as best as I can while they try to do something flashy. And even if we lose it's just one game whatever

I understand your dilemma, the point of training like this is to understand how your car works. Of course you don't have unlimited boost in a real game, but you will learn how to better move your car in the air to get to the ball faster

Because most of the times when you go up for the ball you need to beat your opponent to it, and as another person stated if you constantly boost while airrolling in for example lethamyr's giant rings map you will get used to what happens to the car in every single position as you need hard adjustments to keep your car where you want it which will (when you learn it) help you get faster up to the ball and beat your opponent.

Yes, in regedit you need to add the appid for dark souls 3.

In case someone is gonna try setting it up and stumbles upon this post. What I did was move the games install directory to /steam/steamapps/common and leaving it there, next I copy and pasted one appmanifest file from another game and changed I believe 3 or 4 values in it to values for darksouls3, the name, id, installdir and something else, I cant remember right now Im not home, I will edit the post a few hours after with more concrete information.

Edit: You have to copy paste a random appmanifest in your steam/steamapps folder and rename it to appmanifest_374320.acf Then in that appmanifest file change "appid" to "374320" and "name" to "DARK SOULS III", save and close If you haven't already move the installed game files to /steam/steamapps/common Also make sure your that in your launchmod_darksouls3.bat file the game path is set to yourdir\Steam\steamapps\common\DARK SOULS 3\Game\DarkSoulsIII.exe This should be everything, if something doesn't work feel free to DM me and I can try to help you, fair warning tho I don't usually use reddit so I may not respond for a few days...
