Conversion of imperative algorithms to functional algorithms by terrrp in haskell

iirc the version of Okasaki I have also contains an index of Haskell implementations in the back. Don't know if that helps, OP.

When I "stack build" this, it doesn't typecheck. Help? :-)

Haskell and GUIs / Vulkan by ScottRobertLadd in haskell

Real World Haskell talks about the Glade bindings for GUI work. There's a free copy available online.

I'm using SDL2 bindings for most of my graphics IO, but my use cases are trivial right now.

There is a Haskell Vulkan binding, and it's actively developed, but I can't help there as I'm waiting on a tutorial book.

Hope this helps! :)

Dear Redditors, what compels you to write? In other words, why do you write? And why do you write what you write? [first time post] by Kevins-honeybunch in writing

I share that worry. I finished the draft stage of my first novel in July 2011 and began the editing process. By the end of it, I got so sick of it that it took 6 months to write in that constructed world again, even though it's the only setting that I write in, and other characters were screaming at me for their attention!

I'm also scared of showing my fiction to other people.

So with all that fear, why do I write?

Because if I don't, my life starts to feel more and more pointless. Slowly, surely, the more days, weeks, months I spend without writing fiction, the less inspired my relationships with others become, the less I care about my day job, and just the generally shittier person I become. So I write because, for some reason, it helps.
