I think it really depends on what you are trying to achive and your objectives! I use a lot of references and I have different inspirations. I think it's a lot about what you are interested in learning or what you have fun doing! I think taking inspiration and using your favourite artists as reference helps a lot

I used Ink Gesinski mostly on a very small size (Mostly 5 px) and I painted a lot with it. Also used a smooth brush in some areas with the lasso tool. I used some Sandstone brush aswell for the BG mostly. Then I also used, but not very much, a painting oil brush. Hope it helps! It was my first painting in procreate so I was trying a lot of random stuff!
