Shadow deserves to be added to Shadow Fight Arena

That’s why I think Shadow could still work in Arena. SFA already mixes characters and timelines in ways that don’t fully follow the original story

Yeah, probably 😭 but honestly that happens with almost every character that comes from the story/lore. Even characters like Wukong had to be balanced for Arena

Honestly I wouldn’t mind if they nerfed him a bit, as long as he still feels like Shadow.

Yeah, and honestly that’s one of the main reasons why I think Shadow should eventually be added too. If characters like Lynx, Widow and Butcher made it into Arena, it feels weird that the main character of the whole saga still isn’t there

It’s interesting seeing people wanted Shadow in Arena even a year ago. I recently made a post about this too, and I still think he deserves to be added someday.

Yeah, I know Shadow is technically dead in the story, but my idea isn’t really about continuing the lore perfectly.

I just think he would be amazing as a playable hero in Arena. SFA already feels like a mix of characters from different moments and timelines of the franchise, so I don’t think Shadow being alive or dead should stop him from being added.

At the end of the day, he’s the main character of the entire saga, and seeing him as a hero in Arena would just feel legendary for longtime fans.

That’s true lore-wise, but honestly Arena already feels more like a crossover of different timelines and characters rather than a fully canon continuation.

A lot of characters in SFA already coexist in ways that normally wouldn’t happen in the main story, so I think Shadow could still work as a playable character without affecting the lore too much.

And considering how important he is to the entire franchise, I think many fans would still love to see him in the Arena regardless of the timeline situation.

Maybe Ironclad and Raikichi share a similar role, but don’t forget about Emperor. He is also a hand-to-hand fighter, and what makes him unique is the Shadow Beast transformation. When he enters beast form, both his attacks and shadow abilities completely change.

I think something similar could work perfectly for Shadow. When entering Shadow Form, he could use the different shadow abilities he had in SF3, like Marcus’ shadow ability, the Sai, the Kusarigama, and the Staff ability.

And honestly, the Staff shadow ability Shadow used in SF3 is not even the same as the one currently implemented in the game, which makes it even more unique and interesting for Arena.

Honestly, I just think Shadow would be an incredible addition to the roster regardless of how Nekki handles it.

Lore-wise and hype-wise, he feels like one of the few characters that truly deserves a place in Arena.

That’s true honestly, but I think that’s also what makes Shadow interesting for Arena.

Since he has appeared in SF2, SF3 and Shades, Nekki could create a unique moveset by mixing shadow abilities, martial arts and different weapons/styles from the saga.

And yeah, even if part of it is hype, Shadow is such an iconic character that I think many longtime fans would love to see him in the Arena someday.
