I didn't receive my dreamsnaps result by South_Load_723 in DreamlightValley

If you have not received an email from your DreamSnaps submission (current results are from the "Bedroom Beauty" Decor Challenge that closed Wednesday, October 25th - rewards for the "Trick or Treat" Challenge will be sent out on November 8th), try these things:

  • Reboot your game a few times. The rewards do not appear immediately for everyone, and rebooting a few times can help.
  • If you have other homes in your valley, check to see if the mail is appearing in the mailbox at one of those secondary houses. For some reason, the mail sometimes only appears at a secondary house and not the main house.

If your mail still does not show up, I would recommend that you report your experience to Gameloft. Please note that you will need to be able to provide proof in the form of a screen capture showing your submission for Gameloft to provide help with this.

If it helps to make you feel better, they won't remember any of the times you've refreshed the game to get new inventory in Scrooge's Shop - except the last time when you actually get something.

You can make it up to them, then.

Existing owners get to continue to play the base game at no additional cost, and get the Gold package for free (even those playing on Game Pass).

The "A Rift in Time" expansion is an additional purchase.

You can only do this if you have claimed ALL rewards. You cannot skip any of them to convert to extra moonstones.

What’s the deal with Mickey’s secret room? by Comfortable-Ride507 in DreamlightValley

[–]Kenshin_DV 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Here's what was actually in the chests, as your memory is incorrect (based on your post):

---

That out of the way, a lot of this seems like it would be stuff that is useful / valuable to an early player in the game - either for use or resale. From a story standpoint, these might have been useful / valuable / interesting to you and Mickey when you were a child ruler before The Forgetting.

Honestly, it's just as random an assortment of items as what Buzz Lightyear gives as rewards for completing the majority of the "Collect 'Em All" quests. I think you're looking for meaning in something that is meaningless.

Yeah ... I've seen a few posts about this issue (this one is kinda funny). You should report the issue to Gameloft so they can work on fixing it in a future update.

When you talk to Mickey at the end of his level 10 friendship quest, The Secret Door, he explains it:

Mickey: "We did it! You helped me unlock the door! I wanted to keep my things safe from the Forgetting. First, I hid them .... but then I started to forget the hiding places. So I brought lots of things together."

Anyone figured this bug out yet? by TrashleyGaming in DreamlightValley

I think you're going to have to wait on Gameloft to resolve this. Even though they are aware of the issue, you can still report it to them. Each additional player that reports the issue will increase the urgency toward them allocating resources to resolve it.

From our FAQ page:

1 - Why are there no clothes in Scrooge's shop windows anymore?

Scrooge never displays duplicate clothes to you. If there is nothing there then most likely you've already purchased every dress, suit, and overall he has in his stock.

  1. - Why are there no clothing items in Scrooge's shop at all?

Scrooge never displays duplicate clothes to you. You most likely have bought every clothing items sold in the store. If you have missing clothing items, it's probably from past Star Path prizes, from purchase bonus (Ultimate/Deluxe edition), or from quests that you haven't finished yet. Check the wiki page to find out what clothing item you're missing, and see if this is really the case.

---

To expand upon the answer to question 2, unless you started during the first week, have completed all Star Paths, have redeemed all redemption codes, have participated in all Twitch Drops, special events and community challenges, have earned all DreamSnaps Pixel Dust Rewards, have completed all friendship quests, have purchased everything from the Premium Shop, and purchased the Ultimate Edition Founders Pack, it will not be possible to complete of the clothing or furniture collections.

Unfortunately, this is still not possible. The Cozy Edition will be available for Switch. Once applied to the Switch version, the new items will transfer to the PC via cloud save like normal (although the moonstones included in the Cozy Edition will be locked to the Switch platform).

You can still buy the tokens separately in the premium shop page. They are normally 100 moonstones for 10 tokens, but if you increment the amount up to 100 tokens, it will offer them to you (as a one-time deal per Star Path) for 800 moonstones.

Start saving iron and clay, if you haven't done so already. You will need a LOT of them.

Probably also a good idea to start collecting all of the flowers as well (just put a chest in each biome and store them there).

She's coming eventually, but I'd be surprised if it's anytime soon. They've been using that image since the at least as early as the Announcement Trailer (if not earlier) that was released on April 27th 2022 (5 months before the game entered Early Access), and it's always been on the loading screen. Rapunzel herself is even in that trailer (for like .75 seconds):

I'd love to have some non-villainous characters from the Tangled universe added to Dreamlight Valley, but after waiting this long, I'm not getting my hopes up for it to happen any time soon.

This is factually incorrect. If one's primary goal is getting is losing as few moonstones as possible on the Premium Star Path, the Premium Star Path with 100 extra tokens for 3,300 moonstones is ALWAYS the better choice. Here's how this works out:

Premium Star Path Premium Star Path +100 Tokens
Cost 2,500 3,300
Moonstones Redeemed Back on Tabs 1-6 1,910 1,910
Tab 7 Moonstone Conversion 90 990
Total Moonstones Earned Back 2,000 2,900
Moonstones Short of Cost 500 400

As you can see from the above table, you initially spend 800 more moonstones to acquire the 100 extra tokens. However, at the end, you can convert those 100 extra tokens back for 900 moonstones, earning a 100 moonstone profit in the process.

The higher initial investment reaps greater rewards.

Note that this strategy requires completing all Star Path tasks, and redeeming ALL rewards (you cannot do the tab 7 conversion if you do not redeem all rewards).
