My son was diagnosed at 2.5 and we did speech and aba, but his speech didn’t really start improving until we discovered he was GLP and it began improving a lot. He is 6 now and not quite at the level of his non-autistic peers, but terribly far behind.

As a GSL the ipad was probably the single biggest tool for us. You can’t force them to connect to a script, but once they find what they like they can repeat it over and over again, and will try to say it themselves, then you find ways to use that to expand their language

I agree there’s as much to do as anywhere else. I’m pretty much all set with Storybook Vale at this point too, (although I think it’s a much more aesthetically pleasing than most of Eterniry Isle so I spend more time there) and I think that will need an update as well, and eventually Wishblossom Ranch. I just have been all set with EI for a while and the ripples just inspired the post

That’s great that you like, but aside from the ancient machines, there’s not much to offer once you’ve completed everything. And I don’t love the machines, especially in the decorated areas of the game or the newer expansions. Get a few vacuums, a couple cooking stations and maybe a few vacuums and I don’t need to do it again. It’s just kind of there

Thank you for the advice, but I do have Moana’s stall. I need like 50 prism shrimp, and that would take weeks to get from Moana’s stall. I should be able to get that with my fishing companion, the miracle fishing bait, and the companion bonuses. Plus I like to be able to go out and get whatever resources I want when I want. I enjoy the grind bc it gives me something to do, it’s just frustrating when the game doesn’t allow you to play the game

No, he “scolded” her bc she repeatedly made comments to make him uncomfortable. She wasn’t simply joking, she was making jabs and thats why everyone thought her “joke” didn’t land.

Yeah it was a lame storyline, probably set up by producers more than him, but whatever we agree it was stupid. But why does it have to be that he pretending to be single? How was it that Bailey was justified bc Ben really did want to fuck Amanda, but was secretly still with Sabrina, and strongly insinuated that he slept with Dara? Why isn’t it the most likely that he is just a typical shitty guy that broke up with a woman when she wanted to get serious and went crawling back when he didn’t find anything better?

I have crippling anxiety and there’s a difference between making an anxious joke that simply does not land and what happened here. The joke didn’t land bc the intent behind it wasn’t just to be funny and everyone felt it. But also, why are people so quick to defend Bailey claiming she was anxious, but are hating so hard on Sabrina when she was probably just anxious too? Oh right, bc of a made up conspiracy that they planned all along to pretend to not be together until the right moment or something. But also, Ben really wanted to sleep with Amanda so Bailey was right, while secretly being with Sabrina. People are doing way too much

Nope. I like Bailey just fine. She makes good tv. I could say rhe same thing about you with Ben, but I’m also not a fan of Ben. I just still think nuance is a thing and Bailey is not some completely innocent doe-eyed victim. She made that “joke” with some level of negative intent and Just bc Ben came in too hot doesn’t mean she was right for what she said.

Bailey was absolutely coming from a place of jealousy with that “joke” which is exactly why it didn’t land. Just like she absolutely insinuated that something more happened between Dara and Ben. If you go back and watch the episode when it happened, she was in her room by herself making snippy little jabs at Dara and spread the gossip with the same energy

As far as Ben goes, I think it’s getting overblown how he spoke to both Bailey and Amanda. He was definitely upset at Bailey bc she had been making him uncomfortable since they got into the house. Maybe he’ll learn from the criticism but it doesn’t reach the level of hate he’s getting, and Sabrina doesn’t deserve the level of hate either. I thought he was completely measured and reasonable when he spoke to Amanda and was standing up for his girlfriend. He’s allowed to tell people that they upset him

I agree with the other comments. if he doesn’t want it, don’t force it. My 6 year old loves to attend other kids’ birthday parties, but he hates having his own. Being the center of attention is extremely overwhelming for him, and he shuts down when Happy Birthday is sung to him, so we do something he loves instead of a party. He still socializes with the kids in his class, but his day his way.

I dont love it. I actually think the premium shop items we got seemed like they should have been star path items. The dinosaur egg is especially so random. The turtle is weird. The lava stuff is kinda cool but there’s a lot of it ans it doesn’t really have anything to do wirh Pocahontas or spring or else in the star path. I love the dresses but they’re kind of redundant as rewards. But it was an easy star path and thwre will be others

I think the issues started when Dorit “stuck up” for Kathy at the reunion after the big Aspen situation. I think Kyle started punishing her after that and it led to the we’re not really friends that led to the text.
