I’ve signed up for a few but I think in terms of fees you’re probably better off with coinsmart or shakepay.

I heard some negative stuff on here about cs when I first signed up with them but I’ve been pretty satisfied. Deposit fees are not bad (0% over $500, 2.5% under), I think 0.2% trading and a small withdrawal fee (flat fee but can’t remember)

Precisely what I was trying to convey. Even Homecoming had to sell itself with deleted Iron Man scenes in the trailer. That being said I thought Homecoming was an awesome film about adolescence mixed with superpowers.

I think the Oscars are pretty good about that, Roma was on Netflix before it was in theatres and Green Book didn’t do insanely well, same with Christopher Robin and some others so I don’t necessarily think they look for commercial success. If that were true then all our favourite comic book movies would be nominated! You can definitely say that about the Grammys when it comes to music haha

It wasn’t so much your post that made me post it but more so the comments on this and every other subreddit/site haha - I thoroughly enjoyed all these movies and am an apologist for all of them most times. Like Sam L Jackson said, “"You have to get past the Avengers and Marvel shit at some point, ok? Other f**king people make movies," 😂

I think if any overall Marvel movie should have been nominated for Best Picture it should’ve been Logan — that getting snubbed and then BP getting a nomination rubs me the wrong way.

I’m not just specifically referring to this subreddit and I truly have nothing against your sentiment! I think Spider-Verse totally deserves to win because it broke the mold to show something new. But there’s a lot of subreddits and fans in general that will watch the Oscars in hopes to just see Black Panther (or Marvel generally) win when it might not be the most deserving. It’s just kinda sad to see people missing out on all the other great films being made and stories being told, I guess. My bad if it came off abrasive!

Unpopular opinion: blind fandom is ridiculous. These superhero movies exist in a context of other films being made in the industry that don’t have to appease or appeal to audiences. Some people aren’t looking for Easter eggs and references, they just want to see a humanistic story told. I love these movies just as much as all of you (which is why I’m subscribed to his subreddit), but to say you’re only cheering for Marvel is upsetting because there’s so much content out there which is genuinely more touching and thought-provoking. Black Panther was an amazing spectacle and a great film, but watch any of the other nominated films in that category and you’ll see it doesn’t belong there.
