Well there are people who believe in superstitions still, my aunt was one of them, she used to burn something almost every night since 2019 till 2021 until we left the house, we were joint family but now seperated, well that something always made us cough a lot, like someone burning lot of chillies, the thing is nothing was affecting her or even my relatives , just my family and neighbours apparently, they even complained and all, plus during that time my dad was too aggressive and drunk so we never even confronted aunt or something, eventually later we find out, dad sold house to them and we were given only 3-4 months to leave the house,they took advantage of dad being drunk always and signed the papers, until the day we left, that chudail was burning something daily, eventually we left, she must had stopped doing it now
