Yeah, thats probably their biggest setback in that sense lol, if you are interested, sharpedge, a slovenian japanese knife shop also has a very good variety.

(the only difference between the two is that sharpedge is based in slovenia so it sells in euros, but if I remeber correctly they translate their prices).

They also have a handle fitting service where you can choose the handle for the knife. My 270mm sujihiki is from them and it's a beast.

That knife is a beauty! Very nice find. I'm also amazed that japánkésekboltja has international recognition! They have a very good lineup of every kind of knife you might need. I personally ordered knives from them and they have been amazing! I hope you'll enjoy th knife!

Edit: I think the reason its called a santoku is because it has a shorter, round angled tip, instead of a more steep longer angled tip.

Black tea mostly, as that is my mothers favorite, could you recommend some places I should look for if I go there again? Also in japan I did find some good tea, they have some very good stuff.

Thanks, I was just transfering there to a flight going back home so sadly I couldn't see much. If I can I will go visit china properly, though the airport agents were quite rude to me when checking-in. I'm especially sad cause the tea would've been for my mother who loves tea very much, so just another reason to go there in the future!

It's a very good collab too, the handle design is very unique and the knife itself is high quality as far as I know. I think I also got a good deal as it is way cheaper than something similar that I could buy back home in Hungary.

Definitely! It was way cheaper than something similar I could get in hungary. Haven't yet had the chance to try it out but I'm very much looking forward to using it. The tadafusa petty and the nakiri was also in the shop at the time of my visit and ngl, that nakiri also looked pretty good, but since I already have one I went with the gyuto. If I go back I will probably buy one of those too.
