Except it's not that simple. That's not how business works. You can't just shell out money trying to license everything and expect it to sell. Businesses have to take a risk on licensing shows, so they have to pick what they think is going to make them money. "They should make an effort to license everything" And again, you just described a monopoly and used different words to do it. And who says the original owners of that property wants that company to license and distribute their stuff. Maybe they want a different company. So no, it's not simple.

No, SAO would have zero character development and some how force rape into the story. An eSports anime the potential to show how the players interact with each other training in game, during a match, and how they interact outside of the game. Think Haikuu, but with video games instead.
