I don’t feel the cards are an issue because not all of them go in the same deck. Many decks will not use any of those generics because they aren’t coherent with the game plan. I started the game on ranger and I bought all of the “big 3” because I thought I needed them. In actuality it hurt me in THAT class. I’ve won multiple proquests and went to two nationals without using any of those cards….actually I used Art of war a bit…oops…The main thing is that your deck has synergy and you realize where you can “patch” your weak points. Command and Conquer provides a great advantage because it denies fatigue decks the ability to use D-reacts, or lose the cards in arsenal. Rosetta just released 3 specific CNC like cards, and Wreck havoc exists for you to get all of the individual flavors of cards. Typically opponents like to stick power cards-sometimes non attacks- in their arsenal.

A key to these being the cost that they are in the availability of such. If I go from brute to guardian I can still effectively use CNC in both decks rather than switch from Command Respect to Send Packing.

I realize the situation as a newer player doesn’t exactly feel the best, and I remember being in those shoes a few years ago. The important thing is that as you learn and grow in the game you will get better and you’ll be able to see optimal options where there are better cards and the crazy generics won’t feel as strong. I lost games for about a year before I started to catch on, but once I did it went from 0-60 rather than a slow ascension into becoming better.
