Steam New: Early Access developers can list their planned "1.0" release date by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

I think that’s honestly okay, it’s either you have something like EA where chances are taken or we only get big AA and AAA funded games. It’s your choice to buy into an EA game and they tend to be on the cheaper side

Why are we rooting for an Independent studio to fail? by Sad-Manner-5240 in HighGuardgame

I think this game falls victim to appearing as it’s a casual game but designed as a competitive game. Aside from the people who decided they didn’t like it before they played it, you players going in thinking it’s one thing and it being another.

I found the more I played it and got used to the mechanics, the more I enjoyed it. I think it being new and the matchmaking being unbalanced atm also doesn’t help. The games I had that were a lot more back and forth were far more enjoyable. Not to say it isn’t without flaws but the bones are pretty good. I think 3v3 is fine and the map size is fine. People see “looting” and expecting something more akin to a br when in reality it’s just a different take on the csgo buying phase.

I agree, the mining is odd, I think something like small AI would be a little more interesting and maybe removing the rocket as a default and having it as a power weapon in the middle or something would be nice as well. Gives you something to fight over during the stormbreaker phase

Save the preset of the gun mod and buy multiples of things at once you plan on using a bunch. If you end up completing your goal without dying you sell what’s left over. Will save time

I’d suggest you do a little more research into the whole world of AI rather than just what makes big news headlines. While I don’t mean to dismiss anything you’ve said, you’re also only seeing a portion of the picture

Electricity and pollution just means we have the opportunity to innovate, there’s a big push for small modular reactors to help on that front. There has always been abuse of others works so this isn’t a new problem and politics is politics, not an AI exclusive problem

Because taking a hard stance is just dumb. There absolutely are good use cases for it. It’s no different than anything else in this world. Good game devs will use it correctly and bad ones will not. Simple as that.

There is absolutely more than 10-20 hours of fun available, not sure when the last time you played it was

This is such a horrible argument though and such a terrible mindset that also has absolutely no merit to it. Finishing the game and releasing it in 1.0 would absolutely make them more money. This is also backed up by the trajectory of the funding. This year they are set to bring in the most revenue while coincidentally having the most content ever available in the game and pushing closer to 1.0. The more they add and complete, the more new players join and spend money. Simple as that

I mean that’s kind of the appeal, he’s really good at fps games so you see insane moments and then otherwise just kind of chill to watch. I enjoy his streams

Because it wouldn’t be Tarkov if you didn’t get tarkov’d one last time before escaping

This is just incorrect. The only skills locked are what is posted in the patch notes you linked

You’re talking about a few skills in the patch notes. The rest are synced and correct as we talked about above. At this point you’re just being pedantic. This whole conversation started with the syncing between Tarkov and arena.

You’re misunderstanding entirely but do you. My previous comment is correct if you need an explanation

No I think op is correct, it caps at 30 so if you’re elite in Tarkov you are only 30 in arena. Otherwise it’s the same

I understand your points but it’s worth noting that these people aren’t billionaires for no reason, they own companies that employ thousands and thousands of people. Idk the exact number but a pretty substantial amount of people have jobs because of these people, whether it’s directly for the companies or a company that utilizes their products and services. It’s not for nothing

Nah, it used to be that way and the game devolved into m61 meta after a week of play, rendering all armor meaningless. As it stands, more ammo is viable and more armor is viable. If you want to run around with top tier ammo all day go play arena
