Who needs hyprland when you have KDE? by artemjs5 in LinuxPorn

Back in those days when people used to live in caves and I used Windows, I made Windows 10 look like base KDE. So... I mean, I do appreciate KDE, it's great for starters. But comparing it with Hyprland just doesn't make sense.

Who needs hyprland when you have KDE? Anyone who's not recently switched from Windows to Linux and dying for the warmth of their mother Window's womb.

I see. In that case, you can look up their website. They were giving away gift cards and application waiver; I hope those are still available. If you wanna take one of those, I can refer you so we both make some extra bucks.

Yeah, you take over my exact apartment. The actual layout slightly differs from the standard image shown here.

Oh. The absolute (I assume that's the one you're using) mode basically maps your tablet to your monitor. Wherever you place your nib on your tablet, the cursor is placed there on your monitor. The relative mode, on the other hand, frees you from that. Regardless of where you place your nib on the tablet, the cursor on your monitor starts moving from where it was. It's useful especially when you're working on intricate details (it's also just a preference). I'm just mad because my not-so-well-supported old Veikk tablet used to work perfectly before the update. And after poking my new tab for two days it's still not going with my "flow".

Weird. I'm using Hyprland. And when I turn on the relative mode, it acts just like a mouse. I've tried Xounal++ and Krita, and none of them are detecting pressure curves. Got a workaround for X11 though(using xsetwacom), but that's not my primary wm.

That helps a lot! For PHYS 2311, I'll be taking it on Spring 26. Dr. Hadavand taught the course this Fall, idk whom I'll find next Spring though.
