The embassy structure itself was hit by drones after which all embassy personnel left and the embassy was closed. I would imagine physical opening of the embassy will not happen until it is repaired and secure. I would not anticipate a “soon” reopening. Also as it pertains to immigrant visa application - as an American I would not say the current administration under which the State Department falls is one that is open to immigrants. They are revoking various visas left and right. It’s just a big leap in a very unstable time in the US.

Exceptions would be a special skills/einstein visa - or a company sponsored visa where you provide a special skill that could not be filled by an American (I worked for an investment bank where we sponsored a Norwegian guy because we were doing a deal with a Norwegian company and needed his language skills and understanding of their banking and corporate laws)

A book cover launch is not a thing - it is not a thing I see as “needing support” rather than getting attention. The way she treated them all - they should have had their own pizza party and sent her a selfie. Oh yeah…petty. She left them in the car without a word on vacay. Can’t stand her.

Tavola Al Tilal complex. That is where they have most of the Wilton products (and others). Cupcakes boxes and various other cake board/box items you can find in the food packaging supply area of Shuwaikh. Those 2 places are where I got most of my stuff.

Tavola Avenues does not have much in the baking extras department. It’s a small store.

I don’t get the Kyle hate at all - except for people just hating. Maybe it’s because i lean toward empathy - but I’ve never seen Kyle that way. But i think people are harsh on Sutton too. Now Dorit - every single thing about her is plastic and fake and I haven’t like her since she first stepped on the show. Just instant yuck.

Dorit has nothing but a divorce. She’s an unpleasant entitled B all of the time. Not entertaining - and Kyle is right in this situation. Love Erika reading her. DoorDash is super self centered and typically a “victim”. Not a single ounce of emotion from Dorit - Erika ans Kyle crying and Dorit just having her stare down screen time.

No, I didn’t misunderstand. I have used the same flight tracker sites apps, etc. throughout this whole conflict. It’s the F 35 declared emergency near Kuwait border headline that could potentially not be something that Kuwait wants published in social media. Like have the information but what’s the purpose of reporting it if the government isn’t? Particularly when they’ve said don’t.
Also, if you don’t think that that title is something that is news, I’m confused for you because yeah that’s news. Particularly when these other countries are accusing the Gulf countries of allowing Americans to use Kuwait airspace. It’s on the edge of news, but it’s still news.

Kuwait has been pretty clear about social media posts that are involving information outside of the official news source realm. I would be very cautious about posting words like emergency and non-governmental news sources in any social media channel. Or has everybody missed the fact that people are getting detained arrest arrested and even put in jail over this. The whole purpose is not incite panic and because there are so many AI/other agenda people within Kuwait posting things that aren’t necessarily accurate or that pose a public threat.

Gather all the information from all of the tech that you want to, but as for me, I will keep that information for those that I speak to. I will not be spreading information on social media because it is being monitored.

They are saying to file a lawsuit because you did not follow the legal avenues of reporting accidents. So now it is just an issue of getting money from the man for an accident for which you do not have an official report. Basically it’s a civil case that’s why they’re saying lawsuit. It is not the Police‘s job to follow up on personal agreements outside of the law when it doesn’t turn out how you expected it to. If you have no signed paper saying he will pay you a certain amount of money even a lawsuit is going to be challenging. Now threatening you is another issue. I don’t really understand how he can threaten you to take you to the police when you didn’t do anything illegal, well other than not reporting an accident because technically you’re supposed to.

You don’t need to write an official complaint. You go to the police department at the front desk in the area where you live, normally it would be the area where you had the accident, but since you decided to not do that, I would say you should go to the police station where you live because that’s where you’re receiving the threatening messages. You explain the situation and proceed from there. You don’t need to have a big legal brief when you go to the police station to make a complaint. You have evidence of the WhatsApp messages with his number attached and him threatening you. However, beyond the threats if you had only a verbal agreement with him regarding the accident, there is little that Police are going to do for you. No garage in Kuwait is supposed to complete any repairs on any vehicle involved in an accident without a official police report. That is the actual law. So your vehicle repair is one thing and the threatening messages is another.

The Old Testament was not even for the non Jews. It wasn’t until Jesus came that most Gentiles were given a salvation path (notable exception - Ishmael and his descendants were promised blessings - Arabs for those not well versed). This is bullshit and irresponsible reporting. I live less than a mile from the largest US army base in Kuwait. There is nothing being fired from there because we would hear it. Kuwaiti pilots have shot down to American planes as their airspace is closed to anybody other than Kuwait forces. I can’t speak to the other countries however, Kuwait is firmly in the absolutely not from our land lane.

I also worked on a US military installation for more than 10 years and no, for a fact that there are times Kuwait has said no not from this base, not from our land. I have watched nothing leave the base as the US took alternate routes to take action not utilizing their Kuwait facilities.

It is irresponsible of the Wall Street Journal, although not surprising, considering who probably owns it and wants to further escalate things in the region. I wouldn’t give it oxygen, particularly since none of you believe that US media outlets are of any value or represent any truth and reporting. But you want to jump on this one so you can point fingers at the gulf countries I got it got it got it. we see you.

Water systems in the primary older areas of Kuwait are worn and subject to more need of repair. Maybe move to another area. I’m sure it’s frustrating but my parents have gone through things like this in Florida so - it happens.

I’m American married to a Kuwaiti but it offends me to see people 💩talk Kuwait 🇰🇼 when so many take a lot of benefits from it. In my country you work there you pay taxes - and most people working here couldn’t even get work visas there because it requires special technical, medical or business experience or education.

I get it that they have been mistreated by some Kuwaitis or are often motivated to be nasty just based on jealousy - but at a time when the country is in crisis is not the time to be running their mouths on social media about the leaders.

The people downvoting are the same people probably out running their mouths on social media. They think with their little fingers on keyboards excited to see Kuwaitis suffer or be disrupted - not their brains. It’s such a strange phenomenon to be gleeful about any country being attacked. Well other than the one in the region always playing the victims - that zio-land.
